  SYN, i think i've never used that little image icon 'cause i simply don't have it. in fact, i never get half of them. the ones i do use, "highlight" , "font color" and "smiley" i use from memory. but after seeing your illustration, i can tell where it is and begin using it, 'cause doing something the correct way is really the best way. thank you for posting all this information. you should ask Simon to permanently place it somewhere as a "jw.com" user's guide, or something. good stuff!

  astrology... observations?

  recent events have got me wondering... after my last big relationship, i "swore off" a certain catagory of astrological signs (signs are divided into earth, air, fire and water... i realized that all of my major relationships have been with a certain sign catagory, and thought that that was a problem)... lately, though, i have had cause to reconsider.. i'm just curious; have y'all had any observations about specific signs, or catagories - in other words, what they're like?

  if they're good, bad, or ugly?

  i'm a gemini w/ scorpio rising (wouldn't mind hearing what folks think about that; i know the standard profile well enough, but personal experiences and insights would be fun).

  i love libras, and have sworn off pisces men... they hurt too much. gemini is a "child" on the karmic wheel, and pisces is at the very top, the oldest and supposedly wisest of all the sun signs, so perhaps that's why we didn't work out. anyway...

  i have a question about this step: Now, you need to add the image to your post. Ive circled the button you must press and labelled it 4 in the guide image. Click this button, and you will get the Insert Picture From Link dialog. In this dialog, please enter the URL that you just copied in step 7 into the first edit control, as shown. Then, make sure you set 0 in the bottom edit box for the border, otherwise your image will have a blue border around it.

  i don't do it this way. in strike9, i just right-click on the pic and choose "Copy", then i come into my post and choose "Paste". now i wonder if my pictures aren't showing up to the world and just to me, courtesy of my temporary internet files. is this picture here? i mean, do you see some dogs playing poker? please advise. thank you.

  Shouldn't it say INNOCENCE LOST (rather than Innocents lost)???

  i noticed that first thing... but i thought, well that works too. how many innocent beings have we lost to the WTS? p.s. even though my son is 15, i still refer to him as "an innocent", because, well, he still is...

  hi, I'm incense's son...need help

  i know that my mom frequents these boards a lot, she says it has really helped her deal with her pain caused by the jw's.

  i figured maybe you could help me out too.. i'll start by saying that i'm fifteen, and that i am in an unfavorable situation concerning my relationship with a witness.

  my mom doesn't feel comfortable with me talking to this person, and she says that it is a bad thing to be talking to her.

  hi everyone. i talked this out with my son and rather than forbid him from talking to danielle, thereby making her "forbidden fruit", i would allow him to come to this board and see for himself just how jacked jehovah's witnesses are. i know he's only 15, but he's pretty smart and mature for his age. please don't hold anything back. be honest with him about what jehovah's witnesses have done to you (bad or good). he will be reading everyone's posts for a while, so he can see for himself the pain and evil wrought by the watchtower society. then he can make his own decision. my fear was that he would be sucked into their cult and i cannot allow that. so i will have to let him read and formulate his own opinions. thank you for your help. p.s. his name is spencer.

  WOULD YOU PREACH TO A DOG???

  this little gem is from the watchtower, january 15, 2000...."in el salvador,one man tied his vicious dog in front of the door whenever he saw jehovah's witnesses nearby.

  the man would wait for the witnesses to move on, and then he would bring the dog back into the house.

  the brothers were never able to speak to the man.
