El Pollo Loco has the best chicken ever, anywhere, anyplace, anytime, even homemade. i think they marinate it in 20 different fruit juices or something...

Guilty Fast Food Pleasures
by Swan inokay, what is the one fast food that you just love, but are a little ashamed to admit to?.
a detective character (sue grafton's kinsey milhone) in some mysteries i read has these guilty fast food pleasures.
just about every day she runs for miles on the beach, but then she is invariably ends up ducking into the mcdonald's drive thru with her little vw and scarfing a big mac or quarter pounder.

one thing not to do with the Caramel Apple Empenada, ever: don't put it in the microwave! it comes out tasting weird. 99 cents, down the drain.
heh, an Apple Empenada never sits around me long enough to get cold... (thanks for the tip, though)
Can we say In n Out double double, animal style with fries and a Coke?
their fries taste funny. like they made them out of mashed potato mix or something.
The whole snack menu at Jack-in-the-Box.
their Fried Tacos are the best! but only at 2 am, in the drive-thru, after a concert or live show like "Cats" or "Rent". good n' greasy! (i feel like i'm gaining weight just typing this...)

Lost, Confused, and Hurting .....
by Daizzy inhi everyone, i don't mean to burden anyone with my problems, but hope that i can get some feedback.
in sept. i met a guy whom i assumed was happily married.
we worked together for 4 weeks at the first job and became pretty close friends.by then i already knew how much i was liking him.

the thing that bothers me the most about him is he cheats on Jehovah too. when i was a jw, i was a devout practitioner of my faith and worked hard every day to be moral and do the right thing, and i was lots younger than he is. he needs to either come clean or get off the pot.

Shrek II was awesome, my 3 year old loves "donkey" even says it the way the big green dude does "don-kay". Must be his scottish blood!
how cute
I loved "The Ring." Seen it three times.
the most disturbing thing was when the person's face in the photgraph got all disfigured. i think of that whenever i see Nosferatu's avatar. that scene when she was on that ferry and freaked out that horse was pretty good...he was an amazing actor! (jk)

Word of the Year
by Leolaia intonight i'm voting in the official "word of the year" election held at the annual american dialect society conference.
what words do you think should merit being considered the best word of 2004?
as defined by the ads, the word of the year is the word that "most colored the nation's lexicon, or otherwise dominated the national discourse.
