i loved bugs bunny and sylvester and his little "new age" son...
i hated scooby-doo!
one of my stellar favorites was the flintstones and a close 2nd the jetsons.
their appeal to family values are things i have ascribed to in my adulthood.

Anyway, Eve's holding a rodent...I like to remember them both in happier times, before their landlord through them out and their kids started acting up.
you know...when "jehovah" made all the animals and told adam to name them, did they have things like rats and roaches and flies? does the bible say somewhere where all those critters originated and i missed it?

lol! | <-----------My nose isn't quite this big |
your avitar is a pic of you I & P? I didn't know that.....I love black and white pics, very classic
thank you. this new one isn't me, however. i'm just in a strange mood today...
they had batteries in india, so i am told by a jw(i think it was iraq, actually!
),they have discovered all kinds of objects, suggesting that pre-flood people were almost as advanced as modern people.. look at the turin shroud, they certainly have printing?
(or whatever) to produce it!.
But I think it worth noting two things in that regard a) the "simplest of tools" often aren't all that simple when you think about what goes into the history of all the things involved in making that "simple" tool, and b) the flower photograph is not done with "simple" tools at all, it's done with very advanced 20 century tools.
oh, well i was thinking more of tools through the ages and not necessarily this photograph example. and about primitive tools made from stone, wood, or bone, and how with imagination and inquisitiveness, man builds on each success and inspires new, improved ways of doing things..
we have just gotten home from sunday-meeting, when my mom ask me if i believe in god and so on.
so i tell her, cause you adviced me to be honest.
and despite all my fears, she took it very calm, and then told my dad whos also taking it calm, and it doesnt seem like theyre hating me now or want to throw me out of the house.. the thing is.
Nice that you finally caught on though.
um...whatever you say.

i do... i have another one too, on another jw board... only one person here knows my secret identity buwahahahah... and he's been sworn to secrecy.
hmmm...
You were amazing last night too! Even if you weren't there in flesh.
yikes. (actually, i was making a humorous comment about his and other's "amazing" threads. i don't know IronGland, or anything about him..)
(covers face with hands).
in the past, god spoke to humans through angels, prophets, and jesus.
today, there are no prophets, angels don't show up anymore, and jesus isn't there to speak to us.. we can talk to god through prayer, but how does god talk to us?.
so, other than the bible which is pretty outdated, how can god communicate with humans?
how will "jehovah" dispense his wishes in the new system, i wonder? will he have a big celestial fax machine, or will they use e-mail, or will you just hear this big booming voice while you're outside toiling in the sun burying corpses and digging latrines? interesting to ponder...
a jw cousin of mine called my jw wife today and asked if i saw my new nephew from my jw sister.
my wife said "no, his family would never allow him to see the baby!
" (i'm da'd).

(this is cool.
and you must count to 30 to get the full effect...)
i saw Jesus too...
ok, this one makes the walls melt...
The original version of this illusion involved a piece of paper with this strange spiral on it, and you needed a method of getting the spiral to spin in order to create the illusion. Now, thanks to the power of the computer, all the hard work has been done for you, and you can run the illusion right here on your screen. Click here to download a small application file (Optical.exe 22KB). When you have downloaded the file, just double click to run the pinwheel on your computer screen. You need to stare at the centre of the pinwheel for 30 seconds, and then look away from the screen. Wow! Thanks to Jerry Andrus who invented this illusion, which he calls the Tri-zonal Space Warp! And thanks to Jodi who drew this example of the illusion to our attention. |
