none here- but my brother & his wife- both good witnesses got married- didn't get to complete the act for 6 weeks- his wife had no idea he was so big- and kept crying & was afraid.

she deliberately deceived her online lover and didn't reveal what she actually looked like. she had to realize that he would be shocked when they finally met. why is her emotional distress his fault? she brought it on herself. what about his emotional distress? i mean, he thought he was going to meet one thing and got something entirely different. still, he could have said something like 'this isn't going to work out' and not call her a hippo. but her distress ultimately came from his rejection, not the name-calling... i hope they throw this case out. people don't want to be accountable for their own actions anymore.

not humorous, just normal boring stuff, like it hurt and no one told me that you would bleed from your hymen being punctured. it was scary, but liberating. i thought is that all there is to it? it didn't seem like much fun. the first time. but i had married a very nice (and older) wordly man who taught me all kinds of interesting things, and soon i discovered just how thrilling and exciting it could be, once the psychological barriers were torn down.

no. 'apostate' is their terminology, not mine. when i use the term here, i am only expressing it to describe their view of me. jehovah's witnesses need to label things and people they don't understand. i don't think of myself as an apostate, rather, as a person. but when i come here, i am an apostate because i speak out against them. does that help? i don't require a title, although 'the girl most likely to' has a nice ring to it.

she was a very warm and loving woman and so when she announced her plans for a family vacation one year some of us got together and took up a little collection so that she would have some extra money to spend.
after all, she was working hard for jehovah and werent we supposed to show our appreciation?.

I still have trouble being anything but brutally honest and and the one handing in the wallet / money / credit card etc ... or owning up that the price is wrong (too low) or that I have been given too much change. It's very embarrassing.
i'm the same way. so is my son. the other day he bought two magazines - mad magazine and guitar world. the clerk charged him the mad magazine price (3.50) for both and didn't ring up the guitar world magazine (4.99). he mentioned that to her and she said oh well it will be more money and he just said i know and she praised his honesty. the child of an evil apostate, imagine that. one time at a movie, this couple in front of me dropped a ten-dollar bill on the floor. i picked it up and gave it to them and they were surprised but grateful. no one's heroic for these small gestures... it's just the right thing to do. it's something you don't even think about really.
