Santa vs Three Kings
by one in"three kings is not celebrated in the usa and other "cristian" countries.
santa had nothing to do with jesus who was "born" this day some 2000 years ago.
on the other hand besides celebrating santa "three king" is also celebrated around january in many countries and is an older celebration..

...actually, three king's day is celebrated in heavily hispanic communities in the u.s., including ny and florida, and in mexico, a christian (catholic) country...

I Need Some Serious Help Please !!!!!!

however, i have a brother who is a jw and there is a serious problem that he is struggling with, which pertains to his horrible marriage, abusive wife, divorce and being "kicked out" of jw as a member... or whatever jw's call it.
he has been married to a woman for 22 years.

Yes, you could be correct, I don't dispute that. It just seems to me that this whole tale is becoming more and more unlikely IMHO. It may have it's basis in some truth and has since become very exaggerated with the telling.
can you PROVE anything, or is all u have innuendo? (by the way, in this context, "its" is a personal pronoun, and it doesn't have an apostrophe. it's "its" not "it's".)
if you can't prove anything, what do you hope to accomplish by your comment? why are YOU free to say whatever you want to (essentially alluding that peter is a liar and poser) and others not? i know why, because you're friends with the powers that be...

I believe you... but "serving your time" and remarrying can not possibly be allowed under the JW doctrine... can it?
apparently child and spousal abuse ARE. i get so sick of reading these posts about people agonizing over whether to stay or go and how would it look etc. when there are children being viciously abused by their own parents ! if he doesn't want to contact the "secular" police, why can't he go to an elder and say hey my wife is abusing my daughter and me. huh? your concern in misplaced peter...it belongs first and foremost with that girl, and no one else. err...
edited to add: i know the elders won't do anything but at least its on them now...they can't plead ignorance of the situation.

What would you say to a JW at your door?

i will say:i don't need the watchtower magazine because i already know what it says: since i'm an apostate, wicked slave class worldly person and don't beleive the new light from the governing body of the faithful and discrete slave class, i will be buzzard meat at armageddon very soon now, unless there is more new light about it not being as soon as predicted, like so many times before.
