I honestly don't think this will be a problem. Existing technology is available to provide for all of our energy needs and there is a lot more technology in the research pipeline. A lot of it is just not economically viable yet until oil prices go higher. I think my personal favorite is producing bio-fuel from algae.

i asked for the mag's and started anti= witnessing.
i'm guessing the man was about 40 yrs old and ask him how long he's been a member of the wts.?

I didn't see anyone mention that this little girl was probably an unbaptized publisher, and is probably only a couple of years away from becoming baptized as an "ordained minister", a decision that has about a 70% chance of seriously coming back to haunt her a few years later.

Definately get a qualified lawyer. Be aware also that just because someone has the right to live in the house until they die or vacate doesn't necessarily preclude the lawful owner of the property from selling that property to someone else so long as the same stipulation goes with it. My grandmother found that out the hard way when the land was sold out from underneath her by my uncle even though she still had the right to live there until she died as defined in my grandfather's will.

I have highly mixed feelings about this. It is very important to increase the number of females interested in engineering/science related fields. We need to draw upon all of our intelliegent youth, regardless of their gender, race, etc.
However, going through Engineering school, I saw several women who were given a free ride. I'm not kidding. Less than 10% of the students were female, and nearly all of them could not perform well on examinations, homework, or laboratory work as compared to their male counterparts. I find this odd since females tend to perform better than males in high school and college entrance examinations.
But I can cite multiple examples where females had a failing grade (D-F) and were passed through the classes, and males had borderline grades (C-D) and were failed. I am not sexist, but I am very merit oriented.

Villabolo: I honestly don't know what their beliefs are now regarding the King of the North and King of the South. I do know my parents loved the modern day fullfillment prophecies from Freddy during the 60's-80's, and they ate that stuff up. My mom still believes '75 was the right date adding in the time Adam was alone in the garden of eden naming all the animals. My mom is still thoroughly deluded. I'm virtually positive my dad now thinks it's a bunch of bunk, but it's too late for him to change, as he is a 40+ year elder and what little social life they have is based on their JW friends.

My mom texted me today that the great tribulation was imminent with the events in the middle east. She came in before '75. She saw that and has said the society was wrong to play up '75. She saw the energy crisis of the '70's, the vietnam war, civil rights protests, the cold war, the fall of communism, and even Obama as president who she thought would usher in the call of peace and security. She should know better by now.
My texted reply was "So who is the King of the North now?". That did not go over well.

by punkofnice ini was a junior borgite in 1975. i remeber looking at the calendar at work in october and thinking: 'armageddon isn't here yet.....and it doesn't feel like it will be here anytime soon either!'.
i was surprised that jehovah hadn't obeyed the superior command to bring the big 'a' as instructed to him by fred franz.

Any Stock Holders out there? I need Financial Advice. No...not which stocks I should buy.
by Voices inok first off let me ease your worry...i'm not asking you 'what stocks i should invest in.
' i have a stock in mind that i have seen progress steadily up and up.
before i could even think about investing, i knew this company was going to take off and it's slowly climbing.

To add to Diamondiiz' comment, I wouldn't say stocks are rigged, but in the short-term, they can definately be artificially manipulated for months or even over a year before they swing back towards fair market value.
Also, for the comment that it is easier for $5 stocks to double than $50 dollar stocks, that is not exactly true. Stock price is simply market capitalization divided by the number of outstanding shares. A $5 dollar stock isn't "cheaper" than a $50 dollar stock. What is true, is that it is easier for a company with a smaller market capitalization to double before a company with a large market capitalization, and that has nothing to do with stock price.
