it's amazing to me how many of the exjws no longer believe in god.
i know some of you have many reasons to believe in what you do now.
but this is a big testimony to what the wts does to people's concept of god.

I want to explain what I currrently believe and why.
I believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are in fact Jesus Christ's Kingdom mentioned in the bible.
I also believe that they have been undermined by Satan in a truly spectacular way.
About to quote a scripture so I expect everone who no longer beleives in the bible have gone now.... right?
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
9 But the lawless one’s presence is according to the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents 10 and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved. 11 So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie , 12 in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.
Satan's success is described above as being very powerful. In some translations words like miracle and wonder replace lying signs and portents.
The question I asked myself while still a Jehovah's Witness was that if Satan's unrighteous deception was to be so succesffull immediately prior to Jesus Christs return then would he have sucessfully undermined false religion or ... true religion.
It occured to me that if Satan had undermined false religion then it would not deserve words like power, miracle or wonder. His unrighteous deception could only be described with words indicating success if he had undermined true religion. As I believed that I was in THE true religion then an obligation existed to find out what the Unrighteous Deception was and that I should search for it inside the Jehovah's Witness Organization and not outside.
I was determined to find out what the "operation of error" was and what "The Lie" was I had been convinced to believe.
Upon finding the "operation of error" and seeing "The Lie" my faith in the bible actually increased!
Exposing the "operation of error" and "The Lie" is what got me disfellowshipped.
I also did some research to understand why the people who were "operating in error" and believing "The Lie" were going to perish as a retribution.
After all, why would they not be forgiven?
There is only one sin that will not be forgiven.
Grieving the Holy Spirit.
I believe the Jehovah's Witnesses have already committed the "transgression (sin) which causes desolation".
Through the newly invented Jehovah's Witness baptismal vows the "Holy Spirit" has been removed and replaced with "God's Spirit Directed Organization".
In order to further understand I needed to find out how "God's Spirit Directed Organization" was organized.
This is fully explained in the "Jehovah's Witnesses - Proclaimers of God's Kingdom" book on page 109.
There is NO mention of the Holy Spirit having anything to do with "the organization" explained.
Instead on Page 109 the Governing Body is quoted to say this after implementing "the organization":
"it has proved beneficial to have a number of brothers taking counsel together to consider the interests of the kingdom work"
a number of brothers! ............ mere men.
So the Holy Spirit has been removed from Jesus Christ's baptismal commandment and replaced by "a number of brothers."
Grieving the Holy Spirit.
The only unforgivable sin.
The baptismal vows effect the entire Jehovah's Witness organization and so even righteous people are condemned through this "operation of error".
The transgression causing desolation. (see Daniel Chapter 8)
So as an EX-JW that is what I believe.
Most of the things the bible said would happen in the end times have already happened.
That is what I currently believe.
As an EX-JW I can with much conviction tell you that my faith has dramatically increased.
I feel very sorry for all the JW's who are currently still held captive by a very spectacular deception!

I agree.
The video does not use conversational expressions that Jehovah's Witnesses would normally use at a householders doorstep.
It does however, use expressions that you would commonly hear Jehovah's Witnesses saying amoung themselves at a Kingdom Hall or gathering.
It expresses what Jehovah's Witnesses are taught to believe. Not what they are taught to say.

There may be some wise people on this forum who may now be realizing that the undermining of Jesus Christ's Baptism is the same as the removal of the "Constant Feature" mentioned in the Book of Daniel.
This is a milestone event which starts the measurement of the two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings.
The removal of the "Constant Feature" is also intertwined with the "Disgusting thing" which profanes the Temple.
Daniel 11:31
31 And there will be arms that will stand up, proceeding from him; and they will actually profane the sanctuary, the fortress, and remove the constant [feature].

I would like to bring your attention to the Epistle of Barnabus. In it he points to some future events which the 1st Century Christians seemed aware of.
The event which immediately grabbed my attention is in Barnabus 11:1-2

1 Let us inquire, therefore, if the Lord cared to show us beforehand concerning the water and concerning the cross. Concerning the water it is written, with respect to Israel, how that they will not receive the baptism that bringeth remission of sins, but will establish one for themselves.
2 The prophet therefore speaketh in this wise, Be astonished, O heaven! and let the earth be afraid still more at this, because this people hath done two great and evil things: they have abandoned me who am the fountain of life, and have dug for themselves broken cisterns.
"how that they will not receive the baptism that bringeth remission of sins, but will establish one for themselves."
The end time Christians will establish their own Baptism!
Can you think of any religious group who had the audacity and presumption to change an essential commandment given to us by the King of the entire universe?
June 1st 1985 Watchtower Magazine on page 30:
"On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?
The second is:
"do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit directed organization?"

The practice of disfellowshipping has a way of backfiring on its intended objective.

what have you found effective in reaching your former brothers and sisters, without coming off as a nafarious 'opposer of jehovah'?.
this is asked in all seriousness, as my opinion is that most efforts fail nearly 100%.

Yes, I have had effective results.
Have tried many things including protesting at conventions and even outside the entrance to the Bethel.
There are two things through which I have had results.
1/ Writing a book
2/ Providing information to Non Jehovah's Witnesses.

I have made a book available through my blog.
Many people have read it and provided some encouraging feedback providing plenty of evidence that results have been acheived.
Here is an email I received from a Jehovah's Witness who took the time to read the book:
Able B. Man,
I ordered and received your book; and over a two day span read it from beginning to end.
I am convinced that the contents are true. I am going to read it again. I find it most interesting that once one is disellowshipped, others in the congregation are not allowed to speak with them. Now isn't that convenient?
What I appreciate the most about you is that you love the Jehovah and His Christ and getting at the the truth of a matter; that you recognize that that there is an "Evil Slave" that will exclude and persecute his own Brothers for speaking the truth.
It was nearly 18 years ago when I was first exposed to this "Great City". And, I am glad that I have learned a great many things about the Bible. But before that, I remember asking the God in heaven to show me the truth no matter how unpleasant. He has answered me.
As I was reading your book, and looking up the supporting scriptures, I knew deep down that it was truthful. But at the same time, I knew that many of those who I know "in the organization" will have a difficult time with it. But I know I cannot remain silent over this.
I know I will asked to study the Bible with an experienced Elder to get "re-programmed." Of course I will decline.
I have stopped attending the meetings and have attended my last celebration of the Lords Evening Meal at the KH.
Now I must withdraw from this city.

I have two newsletters which I share with mostly Non-Jehovah's Witnesses.
The reason I share it with Non-Jehovah's Witnesses is because a Jehovah's Witness would probably destroy it before even reading.
The newsletters intended audience is a Non-Jehovah's witness who in many circumstances will take the time to read and understand what its contents mean.
I recognise that many of these Non-Jehovah's Witnesses might have friends, neighbours and even family who are indeed Jehovah's Witnesses and this information may eventualy percolate down to them.
The newsletters can be printed out on boths sides of one sheet of paper which makes it easy to leave in mail boxes, laundromats and under windsheild wipers at shopping malls ect.
I keep a couple hundred copies in my truck and leave them under windsheild wipers every time I visit a mall or any other place.
Have even gone to District Conventions and left them under windsheild wipers on cars parked around.
I do know through several forums that other people also do this with the same newsletters.

I guess the rationale here is that if you cannot reach a baptised Jehovah's Witness then the next best alternative is to reach everyone else!
Eventually the Jehovah's Witnesses will have no one to witness to as the rest of the World will already see through the deceptions.
Although I presently have no means to measure how effective this is the rationale seems more valid than other techniques I have seen, however I have seen some results.
