i have never seen a wt so full of logical fallacies, appeals to emotion, appeals to authority, guilt tripping and bite techniques all in one issue!

When did the Apostles realize that a new "holy place" was being rebuilt?

Did the realization happen while the old City of Jerusalem and it's abandoned temple were still standing?

Acts 15:13-18

　After they quit speaking, James answered, saying: "Men, brothers, hear me. 14 　Sym´e·on has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name. 15 　And with this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is written, 16 　‘After these things I shall return and rebuild the booth of David that is fallen down; and I shall rebuild its ruins and erect it again, 17 　in order that those who remain of the men may earnestly seek Jehovah, together with people of all the nations, people who are called by my name, says Jehovah, who is doing these things, 18 　known from of old.’

The word had just recently gone forth to rebuild Jerusalem and the Apostles realized that it was starting to be re-built in the 1st Century! (see Ephesians 2:19-22 quoted above)

So when does the Messiah return?

Daniel 9:25

　And you should know and have the insight [that] from the going forth of [the] word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Mes·si´ah [the] Leader, there will be seven weeks, also sixty-two weeks. She will return and be actually rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in the straits of the times.

The temple is no longer a "holy place"!

So what is the "holy place"?

This is the scripture which proves that Jesus Christ is not God.

Trinitarians however, use it to prove that he is.

Scriptures that now seem to apply to JWs

in the last year or so, many bible passages that i used to strongly and confidently apply to non-jws, began to seem to apply to jws.

this change in my thinking was shocking and disturbing.

i can best describe the feeling by comparing it to the feeling i got in 1981 when i watched the movie dead and buried starring james farentino.. in that movie there are murders committed in a small town by dead people reanimated by a doctor doing experiments.

Here is a scripture that blatantly fits the Jehovah's Witnesses:

Genesis 3:4

At this the serpent said to the woman: "YOU positively will not die".

Millions Now Living Will Never Die.

They positively will not die.

Which now means that this scripture also fits the Jehovah's Witnesses:

2 Corinthians 11:3

　But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent seduced Eve by its cunning, YOUR minds might be corrupted away from the sincerity and the chastity that are due the Christ.

and also this one:

Revelation 16:13-14
