  update on why the Elders have been so busy trying to contact me

  they have stopped by our house multiple times (we have been gone or just ignored their knocks) multiple phone messages requesting it is urgent that i call them back .

  (screened all calls lately ).

  today the phone rings and i tell my husband screw it i am answering and putting an end to this .. the elder on the other line is not the one that has been stopping by ,but rather my husbands ex-nephew through marriage .

  What to write in my niece's (JW) wedding card

  my very militant jw niece is marrying a jw boy who i know little about, though i presume he must have priveleges or be a pioneer for her to have dated him in the first place.

  though i feel so sad at the reality she's about to face - marrying a man she barely knows who she's probably never spent time alone with - i would still like to celebrate her love, or at least these exciting new feelings that she's experiencing that she believes to be love.

  (and for all i know may certainly be love).. .

  I think this is a great idea. You should definitely use her wedding day to promote your own agenda because that's what wedding days are for! I like to staple my business card to the wedding card whenever I go to a wedding. Oh sure I could be like everyone else and simply say something nice on probably the most important day of their lives to this point, but that's what everyone else is doing. I like to be different and really, you never know when they will need to have their gutters cleaned and when they do?

  i've never been one to believe in " ghosts " .

  i'm open to the possibility that there may exist something in the afterlife or spirit world- i just don't know what it is.

  having been out of the witnesses over 6 years i had my fill of being a jehovah's witness and being told how " scared " i should be of satan or the demons.

  I can't believe this ended up being an electrical problem. I've been studying the paranormal for 35 years and let me tell you something, all you people that laughed at Flipper because he thought it was ghosts would REALLy have been embarassed if it ended up being a ghost. I mean, it didn't this time, and in my 35 years of Ghost hunting I have never found one, but MAN are you guys going to be sorry when I do.

  Stop being so closeminded! Anyone who doesn't believe in ghosts is simply still stuck in the BORG mentality. Over my 35 years of hunting ghosts that absolutely exist I have found many many explanations for ghosts

  electrical problems.

  vampires (not the same as ghosts)

  and crazy people. Lots and lots of crazy people!

  I have high hopes that this wil be the year though. Got a good feeling about 2010. So stop being so closeminded!

  sydney (afp) - people who live on vegetarian diets have slightly weaker bones than their meat-eating counterparts, australian researchers said thursday.. a joint australian-vietnamese study of links between the bones and diet of more than 2,700 people found that vegetarians had bones five percent less dense than meat-eaters, said lead researcher tuan nguyen.. the issue was most pronounced in vegans, who excluded all animal products from their diet and whose bones were six percent weaker, nguyen said.. there was "practically no difference" between the bones of meat-eaters and ovolactovegetarians, who excluded meat and seafood but ate eggs and dairy products, he said.. "the results suggest that vegetarian diets, particularly vegan diets, are associated with lower bone mineral density," nguyen wrote in the study, which was published thursday in the american journal of clinical nutrition.

  "but the magnitude of the association is clinically insignificant," he added.. nguyen, who is from sydney's garvan institute for medical research and collaborated on the project with the pham ngoc thach university of medicine in ho chi minh city, said the question of whether the lower density bones translated to increased fracture risk was yet to be answered.. "given the rising number of vegetarians, roughly five percent (of people) in western countries, and the widespread incidence of osteoporosis, the issue is worth resolving," he said.. .

  Crazy Person number 1 returns with another copy and paste of a (presumably) convincing argument. However, she once again stuns her audience with a formatless wall of text which renders all reading useless!

  What skill! What grace! Truly crazy person number 2 cannot withstand the barrage of so many devastating cut and pastes. Where are HIS cut and pastes??? Can his cut and pastes stand up to the ruthless logic of the cut and pastes of crazy person number 1?

  jesus told his disciples: "you will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria and to the most distant part of the earth.

  "acts 1:8.. hence, some 6,000,000 persons today who are telling the good news of jehovah's kingdom by christ jesus in over 230 lands feel that they properly refer to themselves as jehovah's witnesses.. .

  Crazy person number one gives a firm rebuttal to crazy person number 2. She posts a long unformatted wall of text which may or may not (no one will ever read it) demolition of crazy person 2's argument from before. She also implies that crazy person number 2 DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HEBREW.
