  Sorry leavingwt. I just don't buy into the fairytale world of mind control that ex witnesses have built up to avoid the painful truth that we were retards for the time that we were in the religion. I know it's difficult to say it but once you do you will feela great weight come off your shoulders. Say it with me.

  "I was stupid for believing the things I did. I can blame no one but myself for staying in the religion when I knew it was a crock of shison. It was my fault. I will not blame mystical mind control demons."

  Learn to read. I didn't say that you chose to be a witness. I said you choose the life you're living. I was born into this cult as well, and I chose to leave. Anyone can choose to leave. Not everyone chooses to suffer the consequences of that action. Those that realize the truth of this cult choose to either stay or go. Period. Those that cannot filter through the bs are stupid. Period.

  Everyone chooses the life they're living. I don't buy the brainwashing angle. Most witnesses are still witnesses because they do not CHOOSE to suffer the consequences of leaving. THe rest are stupid.

  Ok I can't create a new thread so I'll have to post my question in here.

  Did you ever wake up one day and think to yourself, "man I just had a dream and I can almost rmeember what it is but now I suddenly cant"

  Did you ever have that happen to you and if yes did you go back to sleep to see if you could dream it again or did you perhaps wake up and go downstairs and make yourself a few eggs or did this not happen to you at all?

  my brother said i cant ever meet his baby

  i started a thread about my dad finding me on facebook but the truth is my brother was on it ive just got a call from him saying i cant have anything to do with facebook or i can have nothing to do withj him or his baby!!!.

  i feel so upset ok i was on ex jw sites on there but even gettin rid of then was not enough he said i have to get rid of facebook forever or i cant see him or my nephew#.

  i dont know what to do.... my dad is in the middle and not well and old and so sad at the cofrontationtation i feel bad!!!

  I don't owe my family anything. I certainly don't owe them a rescue from a life they have chosen for themselves. Is your 007 work something that you are doing for them? Or is it something you are doing for yourself?

  I would never lie in any way to rescue my family from their JW life. I could never live with myself.
