Thank you so much. The JW's keep visiting my future mother in law, and this will be a good way of explaining that they are coming over for more than coffee. She sees what they did to me and I have recently acknowledged it in discussion with her, so this would be very appropriate for follow up discussion. It says things in a way I never could.

I say this at my own risk I suppose, but scientology has very similar tactics. Basically on the internet it is rumoured if one says unkind things or negative opinions they can be bothered by lawyers or worse.
What am I saying apparently for? I've been aquainted with people it has happened to. It's effed up.
Either way in order to control general opinion, nevermind opposition it would be in their [WTS] benefit to wipe every site they can off the internet. Anything outside of the prescibed teaching and routine can lead one astray or open ones mind to new knowledge or ways of thinking that are only dangerous to WTS. They don't have comments on their own site even and it's for a reason.

If they ever corner me with the threat of DF ing me I will try to get mine declared invalid as I was under 18 and heavily medicated, I doubt it will work. I don't know anyone that has been. I will probably post my more through post here later or tomorrow morning. I didn't realise I'd have so much work after work that I don't think I can competantly put enough sentences together to do anything. Its a touchy issue and I really want to focus on my words.

Sounds like a light version of me : Uhh pardon the "language"!
My number one rule is: "Don't be a dick, unless someone else chooses to treat you in a dick-like manner, then you have the option of returning that at your own risk"
Its a good rule to live by and allows you to exercise your own sense of justice.
Edit: The phone might be doing it... we need another phone user to prove it though.

I notice they (your posts in particular) do show up blank a lot, all the posts on this page have a comment FYI. Thats weird... I often wondered before if you were posting a failed video or a slow loading picture but after a while that pattern made no sense.
I know its an odd question... Are you on dial up or something like that?

I understand why issacaustin is upset. If you read accross all 4 of Spikes really big threads he puts a lot of weight on his diagnosis of Aspergers.
Not in direct comparison but along the lines of the dangers of self diagnosis. I had a very close friend [no, not me] who was on a tentative dignosis of bi polar. She did have mood swings and some odd issues but nothing too extreme. She took this as "I have bi polar and this is who I am" it later extended into her discussing her manic and depressive phases for everything.
This went on for several months. In the end she had a very slight hormonal imbalance that affected a lot of different things. She was absolutely mortified because she had made a huge case of her bi polar disoder to the point of having her employer do special things for her. She coudln't talk to many of her friends and isolated herself after this because of fear of the reactions. I was annoyed myself but I didnt say anything as it was beyond my controlling her or helping her not to do what she had started in motion.
I don't think she ever fully recovered from it as she still only associates with about 10-15 different people as opposed to the mass she originally had. She had unfortunately learned when you obsess over your illness to the point it invades other peoples lives and daily actions, you make them go away unintentionally sometimes, and her using bi polar as an excuse for everything...and then it not being valid was HUGE to some people that didnt understand it.
I think self diagnosis is absolutely lame in the greatest form. I think it is better to say that one has an issue or symptom and works to correct it, if it cant be corrected see a doctor about it. If you get a diagnosis good, work with it but don't label yourself as it. If I put all my chronic conditions and "disabilities" here with most of my posts I'd be typing for a long time. They don't affect me that much though because I wont let them.
Darnit, looks like I may just write Bettie's story out tonight. I'm giving it all away in small bricks..... :P

I don't see the trouble in calling BS on anyone on here other than it causes drama, at least 3 posters here are set up like stereotypical SA or 4C poster fake accounts, but those guys often have better things to do than bug the likes of us. Spike has some very interesting personality traits which cannot be faked so I actually would assume he is real until it is blatantly shown or proven.
As for the Aspergers thing. I knew as soon as he said he had it, it was self diagnosed. A lot of aspergers is self diagnosed (to the point on some forums it is a joke to self diagnose, sorry but it is true. Everyone in here is unusually nice about this revelation.... where I come from you would be mocked then banned) and many of the people that do it self diagnose it is because of severe social anxiety issues or are just socially stunted. While I can understand and appreciate the possibility, it is something he could work with the same pretty much regardless of if he has autism/aspergers or not.

I actually was going to post a VERY LONG post explaining exactly why he does these things. I will post it later as I reveal a lot of personal information (I am not an aspie as per another thread, I used to work with aspies and autism spectrum children-adults and share a personality type in myers briggs* often scored by aspies [INTP]) and I want to think about it before I post it in public forums. That and I don't want to insult him if he's still around.
Not that it is insulting to him, but I like to use tactful words as to not hurt feelings as my words are often blunt, too blunt ot be helpful. That and if he isn't coming back I don't really want to bother.....but it may be helpful to those who are limited in here be it by physical or mental problems even little ones.
His problem is very very fixable too. I was looking at disability for my physical health issues, and I flatly refused it as it is the worst thing you can do even for mental health including social anxiety disorders and general anxiety disorders (I have both but pretty much ignore it to the point I forget it now).
Find out why at elev- I guess sometime after 8PST.
*RE: Myers Briggs I don't consider it written in stone but it is a helpful guide for people that think generally within those 16 ranges. I think one can change their type too.

Since the myers briggs thread I've had an idea it was self diagnosed. Otherwise he would have known the special relationship between aspies and the myers briggs system. Also, I have now officially seen 10 people self diagnose autism spectrum disorders over the internet......*sigh*
I only know this sort of stuff because I score like an aspie but am not one. This made me handy in high school for teaching autism spectrum students between my advanced classes...I think I had more fun teaching than doing my own learning though.
