A sister in our car group was at the door and had ignored her 4-year-old's pleas that he had to go. The lady came to the door and saw the sister's son peeing in her bookbag..........!
That young boy has a bright future in the writing department!
last month i got caught by my wife after a late night out with her (and some drinks).
i guess i am evil.. just wondering if anyone else has had this misfortune.. rub a dub.

I think the analysis for why the US system is so screwed is pretty simple.
Since healthcare is a for-profit business, the companies which offer healthcare has as their primary interest to make a profit.
That means (a) overcharging (b) getting rid of people who cost money (those who are ill).
Those two things cannot be fixed by the free market because they are happening because of the free market; the only way to fundamentally change this is by imposing rules, one way or the other.
ttdtt: One can hope, but it seems that people in the know are insistent it will only need 50 votes in the senate due to the reconciliation process provided the right magic spells are said.
Well, the reason why the US healthcare system is so screwed is because of the law; after all, it is pretty much the same "big pharma" countries that operate everywhere in the world. Therefore, going back to "The US healthcare system is screwed so what law is in effect doesn't matter" is not exactly fixing anything.
Obamacare had consequences, and so will the AHCA... what those consequences are is difficult to say because the legislative process was sped up so nobody would be able to learn about them in full but it seems like it will mean a lot of people will lose coverage.
I can't believe it is considered acceptable in the US to make changes to 1/6th of the economy, affecting millions of lives in dramatic ways, when those changes have not been properly scored, reviewed or even read by the people who vote on them...
No CBO score, text not public for three days as Trump promised, nobody who voted for it has read it and the saved money will be used for tax cuts for the ultra rich... The icing on the cake is that being sexually assaulted is now a preexisting condition, you could not make this up if you tried.
If I was an American I would be pretty pissed, but I guess Trump-apologists will remain puzzled about why people, women in particular, protest Trump.
Anyone know it chances in the senate? From what I gather, they only need 50 votes and it is expected to pass no?
hello.
i was wondering if someone could tell me where i might find the example of a young jw standing in front of the class to (boldly) defend creation vs. evolution.. i would like to contrast it with the example from the "bible teach" book about the student challenging the teacher,.
i believe there was an illustration of a young boy standing up in the classroom for his "beliefs".. thanks..
Yah, a girl. I think it was supposed to be set in South America, but my memory is fuzzy. I remember being a bit surprised they were pushing the "life where did it come from" book

Smiddy: no this one was way older. I know because i was living at my old place so it must have been at least five years. Actually i would guess 2010. But I got a feeling they are reprinting this stuff all the time
it seems like mobilizing after the election, which seems pointless.
i keep hearing demands for equal rights but don't understand what rights they are missing exactly.. normally a march is to show the support (and potential votes) for a cause, but ... votes for what?
... and the election happened already.. is anyone else confused?
MMM: posting a similar video about men would be funny... if men were protesting like idiots.
Well, good on you!
Notice how you are the one who makes humor conditional on political views.
I take it then that it is because "women" (one group) are protesting like "idiots" you think this video about negative stereotypes about "women" (one group) is funny?

just fine: I am not offended, I just don't get why it is considered funny...
you could make the same kind of video about men, i.e. take the worst inaccurate stereotypes about men and do each of them like a checklist. So it would be about how a woman finally got promoted at work, didn't get sexually assaulted in the metro, didn't suffer from domestic abuse at home, etc. etc. I don't think that would be very funny either. It would be a video about how men are creep, like this is a video about how women are useless.
If they were serious about that video, at least have the guy turn on his computer for some porn in the evening, then cut to a video with a big bearded man giving him two thumbs up.
