How Involved Would You Get If You Saw Somebody Being Mistreated?

we live in a world where people do not want to get involved.

if they see a domestic abuse, they walk the other way.

if they see signs of neglect or abuse, many just go on with their business.. would you get involved with a situation, even if you might get caught in a crossfire yourself?.

I would always get involved..Call 911 and scream out that the police are on the way, throw a shoe, something. I certainly wouldn't just watch someone being attacked.

I Went Back To the Kingdom Hall

last year i went back to the hall while even though i was disfellowsipped 9 years ago and never intend to get reinstated.

i went back to talk to all my friends and relatives and blantantly ignore the disfellowshipping policy.

i chose to go to my jw parents hall where they are in "good standing" and regularly attend meetings as they ingnore their son.

URGENT Advice Needed

hey everyone!.

i will be going into the hospital for surgery on tues...my first one ever!

the surgeon has gone over the procedure and informed me that it's 'bloody' and so she gave me all my options.

Letter I wrote to my mom

It's amazing as kids what words stick with us. I can see how those words could have kept you in that state for many years.

I really hope you mother reads that as I have and opens up and pulls you close knowing how much you love her unconditionally

Take a picture, it'll last longer

today both of my youngest boys' classrooms were to have their valentine's party.

i had to rush this morning to walmart and pick up valentines for my youngest son.

then i had quickly to put my boy's name on 24 valentines which i did when my boy was eating breakfast in the school cafeteria.

It just cracks me up how they actually think we care if they are looking..LOL.

My poor kids have JW women working at their schools. Yeah, they watch them like a hawk since we stopped going. One actually had the nerve to come up to me after months of not saying a word. only to inform me my son had a girlfriend!! She was so disappointed when I informed her I was very much aware of the girlfriend and how my kids don't hide anything from me.

I'm telling you it's like they have nothing better to do with their time.

i have soooo had it with these assholes...sooooo had it!!

my daughter who is 19 is pre-engaged to a wonderful 20 year old guy who treats her like a princess.

he lives with us to both help me with the rent and for them to save some money for their future.

I agree with out at last. Why not just stay in a hotel for a weekend?

No need to ruin her plans to show off her home town and get to know the family.
