  Loneliness and the day I graduated from High School

  many of us have suffered in so many ways as a result of the wtbts.

  i know intense pain, fear and loneliness as a direct result of the wtbts.

  i have overcome most of it in life and am happy now.

  If your were my kid I would have completely embarrassed you on Graduation day..screaming your name and jumping up like a crazy person!

  My kids act like they don't like it but someday they will remember it.

  I'm so very sorry you didn't get to experience that I didn't either.

  I guess the best thing we can do is now is never allow our kids to feel the way we did..make it big and loud and live vicariously through them while watching them enjoy or be annoyed by us.

  As Oprah says...When you know better, you do better.

  My daughter was running around saying "Call the Po Po HOE" after watching Diary of a mad black women. I had to tell her Hoe is not a nice word :) Kids pick up stuff everywhere these days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3Oy6y6i39g

  I've been wanting to get my daughters hair relaxed for my selfish reasons (less work) But everyone warns me it will ruin her hair so I've held off. It just drives me crazy spending hours blow drying and flat ironing only for a sudden rain storm to move in :(

  How cute is that!! I just called my little mixed girl into the room to watch it. She's at that age were she wants her hair to look like everyone else so we spent lots of time with a straightener and blow dryer :(

  Tomorrow is another wet rainy day so she's going all natural with those beautiful curls

  Sorry bottleofwater,

  The elders get their instructions from someone. I always ask myself when reading these stories.."what would any elders gain from not doing the right thing?" I'm sure the majority of men would find it absolutely disgusting if a grown man/woman would take advantage of a small child like this. What keeps them from calling the police on the spot? What keeps them from disfellowshipping them on the spot? The only thing I could come up with is they are being told what to do.
