friday we were in the grocery store shopping .both of us were in a very good mood because our son was coming home for a visit ,and we were planning on some fun activities .

then around the end of the aisle comes by husbands sister in law ( she is married to his step brother that is an elder) we nearly bump into her literally we are that close ...so i say ," oh hi ***** !

" she would not even look at us and the expression on her face gave me chills ..pure contempt .

I'm sorry you are having deal with the shunning I guess now your husband will know exactly what you mean when you mention how the JW's treat you.

Children mean absolutely nothing to this ORG!! Makes me so angry especially because they are truly the ones that stand up everyday at school to ridicule because of this religion.

It saddens me to see when these children need them to stand up for them and for what is right and just they do nothing and instead help those who hurt them

What made you start questioning: people or doctrine?

i've got a theory that it starts with people hurting us and only then does the "apostate" turn to looking at the beliefs.. anybody who started questioning beliefs first?.

For me it was people (elders) Then doctrine.

Lack of love in a Org that claims it's by their love they are recognized lead to a lot of questioning of other things.

The letter re: coil binding the elder book

i think if an (intelligent) questioning jw was able to read the letter about coil binding the book the impact could/should be greater.

this letter should be an embarrassment to the gb.

what blatant and stupid instructions sent to a large group of men who are supposed to be available to instruct in an intelligent way persons coming with an assortment of life's problems.

My husband is stressed out.. because he says when the Giants score high in one game they struggle for the rest. It should be interesting.
