  Parents who try to make you feel guilty.

  when parents say all the things we've done for you and your not doing anything for us in return like going to meetings, witnessing, answering up etc... how do you respond to parents?.

  The supreme goal for the upper echelons is survival as controllers of this religion/cult. To that end they will do everything they have to because they have no true principles. Only if the USA government truly crackdown on them do I see a fragmentation or collapse happening. Jwborg via the internet is all reaching and global.

  Sadly in my view the USA government is a little behind the curve than other "western" democracies are on in protecting its citizens from businesses masquerading as religions.

  So although they don't consciously see it the upper echelons (The GB/The Accountants/The Lawyers) will slowly morph and drop the most extreme views - but only when it hurts them too much financially or reduces their control over the flock they fleece.

  They may be financially hurting but what do they need for control? Once Warwick is finished it can be maintained for at least 50 years. Five big branches, one on each continent and a small number of sub branches for groups of countries and they can roll on indefinitely.

  They will not go any time soon. But their numbers will drop slowly and more will escape. It will be patchy but more - if only a handful in each hall - will roll their eyes and "play the game". And a few will take their lumps and walk away into inactivity or DA.

  The quality of those that remain will get more flaky and crazy and there will be those that return when the next earthquake (real or financial) happens or terrorist atrocity or nuclear weapon detonates only to leave when things quieten down again.

  nk has fired another icbm over japan.. the missile flew 2,300 miles at an altitude of 480 miles.

  a korean spokesman has said about japan, “the four islands of the archipelago should be sunken into the sea by the nuclear bomb of juche.

  japan is no longer needed to exist near us”.

  last psychology session tomorrow

  we are going to commemorate it by giving each other a letter.. sept 2016 i sat, a quivering wreck, in her waiting room.

  Help! Mike & Kim videos all being deleted by Youtube

  due to watchtower flagging the mike & kim videos on youtube for copyright, youtube is giving them 6 days before they are shutting down their entire youtube channel.

  can you help with a mass downloading program and then reuploading them on a mirror ?

  would hate to lose all those good videos!

  How many do you figure are converted through the door to door ministry?

  i regular pioneered for 2 years and never have actually converted anyone through the door to door work, in fact, i only knew a few individuals that joined this way.

  most were born-in or at least had some type of family influence.

  i had several bible studies but they all got cold feet when things got serious and potential baptism was discussed.

  In the fifties through eighties they sometimes came in through door to door, Less in the 90's especially after the "generation" change. Virtually zero now with internet and overlapping generations.

  In my hall the last of "stable" (if there is such a thing in JW land) ones came in in the 1980's.
