Brilliant news.
By the way there was some QFR or KM article fairly recently saying DF'd should not be made to sit at the back.
Edit: Found it ... 2013 - so not too far back. I've edited it for length.
*** w13 8/15 p. 8 Questions From Readers ***
There is no reason to be unduly concerned about the seating location of a disfellowshipped person in the Kingdom Hall.
... (edited for length)
When it comes to Kingdom Hall seating arrangements, it would seem reasonable that a disfellowshipped minor could also quietly sit with his parents. Since it is not required that a disfellowshipped person sit at the back of the hall, there should be no objection if a disfellowshipped child sits next to his parents, wherever they are sitting.
... (edited for length)
Whether a disfellowshipped person sits next to a relative or next to any other member of the congregation should not be a cause for concern as long as he behaves properly. Restricting where a person sits could give rise to various problems, depending on the circumstances. If all present, including faithful relatives, are endeavoring to respect Bible principles relating to disfellowshipping, and it is not becoming a cause for stumbling to the brothers, there is no need to make an issue of the seating arrangements of those attending Christian meetings.

nicolaou wrote "Those scalpers selling CofC for hundreds of dollars have just had the rug pulled from under them. Good."
I bought mine (paperback fourth edition) for £48.00 in 2015. Worth every penny. I would occasionally look and see the silly prices in the hundreds of dollars it would fetch in the last year or so but never dreamed of selling it.
I am really happy this is finally available at a reasonable price. I do like the idea of anonymously gifting a copy ... I can think of at least two struggling jw's who would benefit - just not sure they'd have the courage to read it though.

Unhappy being asked to give a Disfellowshipped Sister a ride to and from Meetings
by Isambard Crater ini'm pimo, very much against disfellowshipping, and going to a meeting leaves me feeling confused and angry at the best of times.
except an elder asked me on thursday night if i can start giving a ride to a disfellowshipped woman because she lives near me and nobody else from the hall lives in my village.
it seems the elder and his family who have been giving this woman a ride for the past six months can no longer stomach the time it takes them to go out of their way.. i thought all normal publishers weren't to have any contact with disfellowshipped people?

Oh Boy! Beards are "stumbling blocks" again ... from Stephen Lett
by freddo inso this week's midweek meeting video about stumbling others has lett spouting and gurning rubbish again.. if you can't take the whole 9 minutes go from 5:50 to get the context and 6:45 for the "beard" mention.. https://youtu.be/ezv1ici5cwo.
oh, well - at least they shoot themselves in the foot with this doublespeak.

Actually - after mentioning "beards" as a possible cause of stumbling, then "heavy make up" - ole rubber face Lett mentioned alcohol.
So when Elder "likes a few" gets on your case about your beard you can say "I'll shave off my beard when you stop drinking alcohol."
Or even better - "I'll shave off my beard when your wife/daughter stops putting on her make up with a trowel."

A spy's life is a lonely one
by LevelThePlayingField inso i have been awake since about this time in 2013, so about 5 years.
and the craziest thing about it is that now, no one, and i mean no one know's i am an apostate.
meaning, that i don't believe the jw minds set/beliefs at all, and no one knows it.

"When you say, 'midweek meeting video', does this mean that each and every congregation (in the US at least) sits and watches this tripe?"
Oh yes - Worldwide even! We had it here in the UK on Tuesday night.
I went (fading) and wanted to gauge reaction to this and report back.
The brother (pretty certainly PIMI) sat in the same row as me leaned over and whispered "this guy (Lett) always makes me laugh" - I was pleasantly surprised at his comment - and unlike most in attendance he didn't clap like a seal at the end.
Out of a cong of 65/70 publishers there were 35/40 in attendance. What a crock of shit.

Is he interested?
by Sunnybear ini met a wonderful man on match.com several months ago.
on our first date, there was amazing chemistry and we ended up having sex.
it was not planned, it just happened.

Actually Stuckinarut2, I don't think the bible does talk about a threefold cord in direct relation to marriage.
It's JW's that take the threefold cord scripture (Eccl 4 v 12) and choose to apply it to marriage by sticking "JEHOVAH" (AKA the GB) in there.
