wt is insinuating, worse yet, blaming senior jw parents for there not being more younger brothers reaching out to be ministerial servants and elders.

page 11 paragraph 9 reads as follows: .

Yeah who are these "experienced elders" they asked?

1. Bethelites who depend on their masters for board and lodging.

2. Brown-nosers who measure spirituality by assembly platform assignments and strutting around being career christians.

GB Flunky: "So Bro. Brown-noser why do these young men in their 20's and 30's become disengaged?"

BB: (wringing hands) "because their parents didn't encourage spiritual goals." (real reasons - they see through the BS/ They want out but do enough not get booted. If their parents didn't encourage them to buy the bullshit hook line and sinker it's because they didn't get to realise the promise of petting lions in their waterside properties while feeding John the Baptist outsize fruit.)

Put in a sentence or two about how we must obey God's word the bible rather than man. So obviously if someone were to keep asking for us to send money for a new headquarters we might think of not building bigger store houses or that Jesus had nowhere to lay his head. We might even think of Ananias and Sapphire who were deceitful about their financial affairs and tried to look good before men.

Don't think you'd have to do any more talks after that ...

's, here are my conclusions:.

's are very rapidly falling into two distinct camps -.

I would love to see a crumbling and withering of congs. But now with the "great expansion" of building ... I mean ... scrapping kingdom halls I think there will be amalgamating of congs. In larger towns and cities every 3 to 5 average congs can easily be made into 2 or 3 larger congs. That means less platform work for the Elders and MS's, less CO's needed. So the desperation for "brothers reaching out" is reduced in the short term.

Imagine 3 congs with a total of 20 elders - well that can be two congs with 10 in each.

The good thing is more chance for faders to go less noticed under the radar while the elders fight it out for the prominent jobs and take a while to settle in..

That is how to do it. Dress fairly smartly - No shouting, no screeching, no banner waving - just a puzzled look and a mild manner and "not understanding" the (lack of) response.

one way i managed to de-programme myself was to imagine the god of the universe being behind the desicions watchtower were making.

Another Elevated Group of J.W.'s Now?

why are only pioneers allowed to do "metropolitan witnessing"?

why do they need "special training" to stand like a zombie for hours, speaking only to their fellow elite?.

Explanation (in the UK):

Special Metropolitan Witnessing is what is arranged at circuit level in a "big city". They typically choose areas near big shopping centres or railway stations to set up the carts.

This has been the preserve of regular pioneers from surrounding congregations appointed by the Circuit Overseer (or more accurately he rubber stamps those collated by the dumb schmuck elder that gets to do all his menial work - in return for a bit part on the assembly program of course)

Normal cart stuff is what any congregation organises outside the local shops or whatever and keen elders who want to do the same as the circuit overseer only use regular pioneers and maybe a few favourites like themselves and their wives if they want to bump their hours up. These are chosen by the Service Committee or the body of elders. More lax congregations let most of their publishers go on the carts unless they are really wackadoodle crazy.

Cardiff in Wales (pop 300,000) has these SMPW set ups and they have just had a letter read out saying that Elders can recommend good non-pioneers for this work.

it has been 2 and a half years since my departure from the religion.

i was told by my parents from the start that i would never speak to them until i returned to jehovah dog.

a few months later they told people they hoped i died before the end came, then all of this culminating in them telling my inactive / fading sister that they don't consider me a child anymore and they have given me up to satan.

Is she able to act abusively to any other children? I note that point was picked up on by one therapist you mentioned. If so have you considered involving the authorities for what sounds like historic child abuse.

Reminds me of the "lovely" JW Eunice Spry in England who's adult foster children finally took her to the authorities and she served 6 years in the slammer. Due out this month in fact.
