Well done Candace Conti and all the other brave souls who have had the guts to take on the WTB&TS! You are putting hooks in their jaws and dragging them to where they do not wish to go...
Bravo!

I wonder if the auxiliary counselor went up afterwards and told him that his illustration should be more accurate?
AC "Brother Jackson, may I have a word?"
GJ (Extending hand to be kissed) "Of course my brother! How much did you love my talk?"
AC (Ignoring all fingers and rings thereupon and turning to Ministry School book) "Under study 40 - Accuracy of Statement - note p225 para 3 - When you are consistently accurate in what you say, you will become to be known as a person who respects the truth. This reflects well on Jehovah's Witnesses as a group. More important, it honors "Jehovah the God of truth."
GJ "That's right!"
AC "Well there is no 50 meter or 25 meter mark on a soccer pitch ..."
GJ "Who is your Co-ordinator brother? Better yet who is your Circuit Overseer?"
so i went out today with my broken leg and got accosted by an old lady, with some magazines.. it was my first ever encounter with a jw in ten years, and i had said 'i know you are jw's, i'm not interested thank you.
" twice.....then she started talking about my broken leg and how wonderful we are made and how amazing the healing process is.... and that's when it all started...."i used to be a bethelite pioneer, now i'm an atheist doctor...".
she was with me a good 30 mins, her elder husband left very annoyed but she stayed, and she was dying to hear everything i spurted out, despite aggressively defending every point, from military engines to paedophilia.
submitted by the governing body for your approval!
credit freemindfade with on the script.... http://youtu.be/ldiwqqbcd5w.
in october of 2000, i faded away from the watchtower.
like most people, i have family and friends who are jw's (including my wife and parents).
fading is generally the best method for people in that situation.
several threads have discussed the increased use of of the trolley work by witnesses in various countries (e.g, australia, new zealand, the states, canada and britain to name a few).
several posters have described trolley settings as largely ignored by passersby and/or the witnesses immersed in everything other than appearing ready and waiting to make contact with passersby.
what impact will this increased shift to trolley work have on the hallmark feature of jws, their door-to-door work?
"How are the trolley dollies chosen"
Metropolitan in cities - Regular Pioneers only but just beginning to include some "exemplary" publishers - you know - elders and their wives and adult kids that dress "professionally." Nepotism rules.
Local Cong - If you have a pulse and don't dress like a vagrant you're pretty much in in some congregations. In others they are more Pharisaical and try to copy or go beyond the metropolitan rules.
And the vast increase from all this standing around? A big fat zero. In our hall we have about 95 publishers and about 65 attend the meetings.
how can i describe alex rance?
if i was from the uk or europe, imagine your best football goal keeper.
if from the usa, imagine your best defence player in the nfl.
Phew! That was close.
Now ... how to help him see the TTATT.

although i find this unsurprising, i think it worth mentioning as it demonstrates a point.
i know a brother in chile, and i wanted confirmation on the flag flying outside the kh in that country.
he said he was unaware of it.
i decided to go to the bethel recruiting meeting yesterday to test out my theory that the organization is in decline.
i assumed that if there is a general feeling of apathy by many in the org, then certainly it would be shown up by the lack of enthusiasm or zeal by many to sign up for bethel service.
well let me say that based on what i observed, this organization is not going anywhere.
Yes - especially in US and UK where bigger storehouses are being built all the zealous and deluded go to Bethel and building projects. (But where they closed the Bethels and kicked them to the kerb - well tough.) It's like a long gap year lasting between a year and several years when many are burned out or booted to the kerb.
Meanwhile lots of congregations who lose these zealous and deluded have good old boys running the show and watchtower articles begging them to train up what youngsters they have left!
But this show will go on in some form or another as mentioned above - it will be about "listen-obey-be-stressed-and-depressed" - so don't hold your breath for a collapse.
