  once a month or so and this week went to a different hall.

  and believe me they are all still totally oblivious to all the negative news about the pedophiles and shunning that have come under scrutiny by the media and other governments.

  I like to think small but significant.

  Any decrease worldwide would be significant. But I guess if that happens the numbers will be spun further. They already use Peak publishers and have dropped "average publishers". I believe they have done this only because the "average publishers" looks worse - possibly already in decline?

  When the "Peak publishers" declines then that statistic may well disappear.

  So either a published decline = genuine decline.

  No figures published = genuine decline

  Spun figures = likely genuine decline "recounted" to make a tiny increase.

  Watch out for "love of the greater number cooling off" being trumpeted as a "good thing".

  Transferring Congregations

  what is included in the publisher cards and other information when you transfer from one congregation to another?

  i was privately reproved and may be moving to a congregation where there are brothers i rather not know why i was privately reproved.

  is the fact i was privately reproved visible but not the reason why?

  How long ago was the P.R?

  The Service Committee will decide what to write and may well consult the judicial committee or the whole body for input - certainly your group overseer.

  If you have all "privileges" back and you move a good year afterwards you might get away with no mention if you have been a "good boy/girl".

  I wouldn't discount a "not so discreet" phone call from CoBE to CoBE as well, mind.

  3 years is "normal".

  If you are "irritating" the elders - simply by sparodic meeting attendance or not complying with their demands then anything up to 5 years will earn you a dishonourable mention in any letter!

  And no, you cannot demand a copy or sight of it and the receiving body - who will have it read to all of them - will be instructed to discard it once done.

  on the local news last night it was reported that two kingdom halls in olympia wa were set fire to.

  i wonder who has a grudge with those congregations?

  unfortunately we know the jw"s eat this crap up and enjoy the "persecution.

  The increase in the Anointed Ones

  to illustrate how the botchtower's groupies are losing brain cells...last year an elder told me some of the increase in the anointed is due to those who have been unfaithful and needed to be replaced.

  when i was in first grade i knew that if i had 10 marbles and i lost one and a friend gave me a marble to replace the one i lost that i once again had 10 not 11 marbles.. jdubs are very good at not thinking..

  Of course let's say a replacement (as mentioned this idea died out like they did in the 70's and 80's - don't forget the "door" was closed in 1935 - and reopened a crack in 2007) is made due to an original anointed getting DF.

  So if the original DF gets reinstated and still says he/she is anointed you have minus one (leaver) plus one (new fella) plus one (reinstated) = TWO.

  All a bag of shit really.

  Please don't take this the wrong way but I believe America is behind the curve when it comes to calling fundamentalist and stricter "Christian" religions to account.

  Mind you the whole of the west seems to be happy to let them have charitable status way too easily.

  Classic Talk Regarding KH Consolidation

  last night i was listening in as my spouse was on the phone line.

  there was a big "local needs" talk announced and it was speculated to be about the congregation reshuffling.. that ended up to be the case.

  i thought i used to lay it on thick from the platform....... this was the ultimate spin job - worthy of political office or a spot on the governing body.. one thing that stood out "while the numbers may not necessarily indicate it, it is clear jehovah is speeding up the work".

  what started as news of a man and woman being found unconscious on a park bench 12 days ago is escalating into an international incident.. sergei skripal had worked as a double agent for british intelligence mi6 before he was discovered and imprisoned in russia in 2006. he was later flown to england as part of a spy-swap in 2010. on sunday 4th march he was discovered along with his 33 year old daughter yulia close to a shopping centre in salisbury.. since then the story has become increasingly bizarre.

  a policeman who was first to attend the scene also became critically ill and remains in hospital.

  government scientists at porton down have confirmed that the cause is a russian military-grade nerve agent novichok.

  Cart observations from Cardiff South Wales

  i was in a suburb of cardiff, capital of wales where it was difficult to get near to my customer's offices to deliver and install what i do.

  i had my car parked about a hundred yards away and had to make several trips with goods and tools past a local jw trolley cart.

  as i was working i didn't stop but observed much of the time from an upper floor office window.. in the hour or so i was there, on a warm sunny (for late february) lunchtime/early afternoon - right by a bus stop and several local shops, cafes and banks with plenty of people about - not one person stopped at the cart.. the two women at the cart i guess were about 50 and 75 respectively - pleasant looking motherly/grandmotherly types.

  I was back at this customer's premises today - just a flying visit to drop off some supplies and so I passed the same cart at just after 9 a.m. today and again at 9.15.

  Remember - busy shopping area, bus stop, banks, plenty of people about.

  Again no-one approaching the carts in the time I was within sight of it (only about 15 minutes this time, admittedly.) I had a busy day ahead so didn't engage them but get this ...

  THERE WERE FOUR OF 'EM!

  That's right - four JW's on one cart - all men in their 50's. Two stood yacking to each other the other two staring off into the distance.

  What a bleeding, utter and complete waste of time!

  On the basis that it is Russia that has done this I can see why Putin or some high up Russian security service leader might do this.

  Pour encourager les autres.

  So that anyone thinking of being a traitor - even after "only" having served a prison term - knows that the axe could fall at anytime.
