The increase in the Anointed Ones

To illustrate how the Botchtower's Groupies are losing brain cells...last year an elder told me some of the increase in the Anointed is due to those who have been unfaithful and needed to be replaced

When I was in first grade I knew that if I had 10 marbles and I lost one and a friend gave me a marble to replace the one I lost that I once again had 10 not 11 marbles.

JDubs are very good at not thinking.

It's those pesky overlapping unfaithful anointeds.

I understood this was always the reason given to explain away some "other sheep" suddenly start partaking.

That there are annointed that become unfaithful. Seems like Jehovah is getting carried away speeding up the replacement annointed work.

In the 1970's and 1980's, all JDubs were excited to see the new yearbook for one reason...how low now is the number of the cracker nibblers and wine sippers? I remember when it was around 8,000 and going down quick which was just another sign how soon the end was.

It also most seemed like the Borg said to themselves that we better reverse the numbers to slow things down and then we can throw in the overlapping generation as icing on the cake.

The end has never been as close and at the same time so far away.

And even if they were anointeds that had been unfaithful and had to be replaced......what age were they.......?

"Some of the increase is due to those who have been unfaithful", I wonder does that include those in heaven? There has been a lot of folks jumping ship in the past 100 years.Maybe some of those folks in heaven figured, this is BS send me back to earth.....

I always thought that if the anointed ones who know they are good enough to make it to heaven can't stick with it, what hope do the rest of us have?

18000 emblem takers! That's a lot of replacements.

In the 1970's the anointed were all old and then they started getting younger. Who said there are no modern-day miracles?

Yes, this is an old line of reasoning.

I recall in the 1960s the literature spoke about some of the anointed falling away and needing to be replaced. That was over 50 years ago when at least the annual number of partakers was actually decreasing but some newer anointed were coming forward.
