down over the years i have experienced plenty of discouragement and cynicism about faith and the existence of a god who cares for us.

if i allowed myself to dwell on those things alone, i suppose that i too would be feeling hopeless and cynical and would be just waiting until my time is up.. however, i don't feel that way at all.

Very mature yourself Mrs. Jones. The point is, it is wrong for a 20 year old man to marry a 15 year old GIRL. No he cannot change it. What's done is done. It happened to turn out for them. Oh joy. However, when he was telling his story his writing of the account was creepy and he was not ashamed at all. He thinks what he did is perfectly fine. That is what I have a problem with. Especially when he said he wanted "to make the freckled faced girl his WOMAN." Eeeewwwww.

I posted the charts because some on here were saying it was normal 50 years ago for 15 year old girls to get married. I was posting facts to show that was not normal. Because you know 50 years ago it was Little House on the Prairie time, NOT.

So Lonewolf, would you have allowed your daughters to marry a man 5 years older than them when they were 15? I am really curious to know.

@ Mrs. Jones been married 17 years myself and have birthed a child myself. Guess that makes me almost as smart as you.

What exactly are men at the back of the hall taking care of?

once people have come in, and the doorman and the mic men are in place, why are there a few other suits scattered about at the back?

i saw a guy get up, sit down, get up, sit down, get up and when i looked what he was up to he was reading the noticeboard and looking around, waiting for a bus.

i figured he wasn't doing much at that point, but anything to not stay seated.
