I am SO very proud of me, thank you... Iam a Deist of sorts these days so basically- I've been there, read the book and almost bought into the lies & deceptions of the WTBTS......... we live, we learn and hopfully move on in better directions- and by that I mean, well away from CULTS!

MadJW, please stay on JWN. Your comments and posts and threads are being read by many people considering joining the WTBTS.
Having said that, your comments and attitude displayed on here is a great deterent for anyone considering joining the WTBTS- your helping the 'apostates' more than you realise mate!

As a 'study', you are asked by the JW you study with, to use your own logic and reasoning to see "it really is the truth"- so we are just suposed to 'use our own logic to trust' and then told NOT to trust our own logic........................ confused? Iam

Women as weaker vessel - explain?
by Libelle inok, the mr. constantly rolls his eyes and tells me i just don't understand anytime any of his literature shows up with something along the lines of "women are the weaker vessel.
" apparently (at least in his own little mind), it does not mean women are these delicate, breakable, weaker things, but something else... something more subtle.
anytime he's ever explained it to me (which has been a few years, i reckon), it's come out sounding like reason for women being second class citizens... is he just putting his own spin on it?

I may be reading it wronge... but to say "treat her as though", is not saying she is a 'weaker vessel'.
As a woman- I resent being called 'weak' by anyone, but if someone were to tell my husband to 'honor me' as though I were a fragile object and 'handle with respect and care'.... I would be sooooo flattered
but dont ever treat me like a second class anything! LOLOLOLOL
