Not upset in the least. Not a joke. Very good life. Perfect, no, but whose is?
I feel my life is perfect, thank you very much. If you feel yours isn't and assume that everyone else's isn't either, perhaps ol' Jokehovah's blessings aren't working out so well for ya kid (I refer to all JW zombies as kids due to their childish and selfish beliefs). And if you haven't been to a meeting years, why jump on the merry bOrg wagon and wave its flag?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Why does it bother you so much? Anyway, anyone that says their life is "perfect" is not the sharpest tool in the shed. From what I see lot muscle, little brains.
Just because you have a narrow view of the religion, it's children and it's God does that mean we all must jump ship and adhere to your views? Geesh. No thanks, trying to quit stereotypical muscle head forum nazi.

@Clambake-Is that all you have? Grow up.
@Smiddy-The GB has told me nothing. I'll doublecheck my email though. And every religion has its issues.
@DJS-I havent been to a meeting in years. I admire your intent but nothing so far said here has moved me to consider changing.

Not upset in the least. Not a joke. Very good life. Perfect, no, but whose is? Just making the point that many here can dish it out but lack the fortitude to take it in return. And correct me if I am wrong but the name of this site is Jehovahs-Witness.com not Anti-Jehovahs-Witness.com.
Therefore it is an open forum for all is it not? Are we to just tolerate those that give us a "virtual" pat on the back and not challenge us to view different perspectives, albeit opposite at times?

Grey Goose your "awakening" reminds me of a woman around 6000 years ago whose eyes were opened. We know how that worked out.
Proceed slowly grasshopper.

so, i know there are some from my congregation or from bethel who monitor my posts..... maybe you're looking for something to catch me out?.
just a question: rather than trying to find fault with me, have you stopped and looked into the issues or facts about the organisation that caused me to come to a place like this forum??.
facts are there for anyone to find nowadays....one just has to be willing to pull their head out of the sand.....

i've noticed that each wt lesson really only has one or two points they want remembered.
normally they build up to these by about the third subheading.
this week's lesson though was different, the main point was insidiously made through an experience in the first paragraph:.
Though I disagree with many views on this site, this one I do agree on. We are told that marriage is a commitment and to wait past the bloom of youth. We are told baptism is a "dedication" and is greater than a commitment. How much more so should one wait past the bloom of youth for baptism then?
