i just heard the sad news that a very loving and kind elder for the congregation that i belonged to for 15 years just died from a heart attack.
he was someone that i had great admiration and deep respect for, even now that i'm out from the jws.
he was my mentor and an inspiration to me as an elder, and in many ways he showed me the contradictions of the wts, he was a breath of fresh air within a cult.
I had that experience getting shuffled to to the back of the Hall when one of my best friends ever died. I got shuffled in with his best friends that were worldly, it was a good experience. I still love Mike, my brother forever! Fuck the Hall and the "Brothers." Keep on with what you gotta do.

so i ran across this statement today in doing some research:.
take, for instance, the stories and legends regarding the origin of man.
although details vary, the belief that man was made from the dust of the earth is widespread.
no.

i could record a speech by stephen lett (of governing body) here in brazil:.

.
I remember when he was my Circuit Overseer. He over emphasized word even worse back then. He drove me nuts listening to him.

ever listened to a song, and the lyrics really touched & hit a nerve with what you are going through faith wise?.
i listened to an album the other day for the first time and there was a lot - quite a few of the songs hit.
i'm not afraid to say that driving along, some made tears well up a bit - it was the robbie williams escapology album, the songs "better man" and "come undone" had lines in them that really hit home.
Pete Townshend: I am an animal
I was always here in the silence But I was never under your eye Gather up your love in some wiseness, For every memory shall always survive And you will see me. I am an animal My teeth are sharp and my mouth is full And the passion is so strong When I'm alone, loneliness will change me I am a vegetable I get my body badly pulled I'm rooted to the spot Nothing will rearrange me I'm looking back and I can't see the past Anymore so, hazy I'm on a track and I'm traveling so fast Oh for sure I'm crazy I am a human being I can't believe all the things I'm seeing I've nowhere to hide anymore I'm losing my way I am an angel I booked in here I came straight from hell I don't know how to lie anymore I'm boozing to pray I'm looking back and I can't see the past Anymore so, hazy I'm on a track and I'm traveling so fast Oh for sure I'm crazy I was always here in the silence But I was never under your eye Gather up your love in some wiseness for every memory shall always survive And you will see me I will be immersed Queen of the fucking Universe And I don't know what I have anymore Anymore than you do I am a nothing king Been right around on a golden ring I don't know where you are anymore I've got no clue I was always here in the silence But I was never under your eye Gather up your love in some wiseness for every memory shall always survive And you will see me I am an animal. |
how would we get the early financial records of the wts?.
was the wts considered non-profit?
a religious order?
The Caddy's were V-16's. Extravagent to the max. Unless someone donated them to get to the New Order, they were a drain on the WWW, or whatever they called it then. Big Judge had a great time living it up. He even had his sexual liasons. I hope they were good, because he is only getting his pineapples in hell now. (please refer to Little Nicky video)

i believed that god was the big boss and his first-line supervisor was jesus.. .
everything beyond that got a bit shaky for me throughout my jw life.. .
but this bit, i never bought into for even an instant: the husband is the head of the wife.. .
No.
JK
i have been talking to my jw mother.

the generation is no big deal.
She brought it up. I couldn't help myself. Otwo, or Flipper, please help me here. I have bit my tongue long enough.

"... deporting the millions of illegal aliens in the united states will cost trillions and will make this country bankrupt; the beginning of slippery slope that eventually will destroy our country the working immigrants is part of the backbone of our country and they have always been and will always be.. i guess, you are blind to the myriad of studies concluding that immigrants benefits our culture and economy.
a study was released by the center for american progress (cap) that establishes that the enforcement-only approach these restrictionist groups ad-nauseam advocate isnt sustainable in the long-term.
the study estimates that a strategy aimed at deporting the nations population of illegal immigrants would cost the government approximately $285 billion over five years.
But if it weren't for immigrants, who would do the sh*t work?
