it is getting exciting here: 1" hail, pouring rain, 60 mph wind, big lightning, and tornadoes expected.
oh, and the temperature went up over 20 degrees in less than an hour.
plenty of sirens too.. jk.

just wondering how many of us on here are musicians, what we play, and if we had witness bands and/or performed.
i have had quite a few funny moments of being in bands that wanted to be cool, but always had to nerf the edginess of any songs we played and watch the noise!
i played with different elders who loved to rock out, but when they played at a congregation party didn't even want to use overdrive of any kind!
I play guitar; and have an acoustic, electric and dobro. I also play violin, and love to plug it into my Valvetronic amp to make very distorted cool sounds. Very demonic, thank you very much! 120 watts and a six speaker half stack. Vox, there is no substitute.

name some of the best "live" recordings of your favorite music.
i usually like the studio versions better, but many times, it's not the best.. i'm not talking about being there- getting the live experience.
typically, that is always better than listening to a band or artist.. what i am asking for is your opinion about what bands or artists have their stuff played on the radio or on an album and the live stuff is the stuff we remember to be better than anything studio recorded.
