  okay, i have read some posts about new efforts to "reach out" something is up.

  my elder dad who entered a "cease fire" with me about a decade ago on the topic of religion reached out for the first time since.

  he specifically invited me to the kh and bragged about the memorial attendance, the end is surley near....etc.. etc.... .

  My response was, I have forgiven the org for screwing my life up. The KH is not the place for me. I have made my own peace and relationship with God. My life is better spent helping others than waiting on the end of the world.

  Let's hope this doesn't set anything off. I have enjoyed a great relationship with my Parents for the last few years. At the same time I noticed they are all joining Facebook. What gives?

  Injured Bat

  i just have to share this because it has entered my mind every day for nearly a month.. on the way back to my car, there was a bat on the ground.

  i stopped to get a closer look.

  it turned it's head looked up at me and hissed.

  The humane thing to do is to kill the bat and put it out of misery and dispose of the body. Not to let it die in the cold or heat or get dragged off by a cat where it will infect it with the rabies that infected the bat in the first place.

  Nothing wrong with it. Just know were you're boundaries are and respect those and make the other person. People are weak sometimes not evil as the Borg would have you think.

  just went over to ask him something and he had the cd-rom version of the nwt on his desk.

  It's funny because this board taught me about Johannes Gerber and all the trouble with the NWT.... This is the only place I can really express myself. I think the fact that I am just severely inactive not "opposed" is why my family still talks to me. I have to be careful.
