Jesus and Bible Movies
by PSacramento inover the weekend i had a chance to see a few "jesus movies", and the 10 commandaments of course ( yul brenner steals that movie).. my family and i loved the gospel of john, by far our favorite "jesus movie".
king of kings is ok and the greatest story ever told is not a good representation, it lacked passion, lacke consistency and was not very well acted nor was it well written.. the mini-series, jesus of nazareth, was a good one too.. i was wondering if people had other recommendations..

Injured Bat

i stopped to get a closer look.
it turned it's head looked up at me and hissed.

Are we beating a dead horse, I mean bat here.... LOL...
As far as animal Control.. Someone dumped a sick puppy on my porch a few months ago. I called animal control...was told they called back 3 days later. Told them I already handled the situaiton.

How do you not know the animal was in pain... Bats don't scream and cuss do they? Injured bat can't move just waiting to be picked off by a cat. It was sick or injured to be down. Finish it off and move on. That's life.

I've had to kill an animal in the past to put it out of its misery and it has left some very deep, emotional scars on me.
That sounds a little selfish to me. Let and animal writhe in excrutiating pain because of my "feelings"... hmmmm.

" this is supposedly because they are a "spiritual family" and this is supposed to encourage that feeling.. but how often did you refer to your biological brothers and sisters by their title?

It happens tonight...
by IronHill inwe have been told that the announcement that "we are no longer of the jehovah's witnesses" will happen at the meeting this evening.
so i will be celebrating tonight!
