  I need help finding my father

  i'm not even sure where to begin with this.. my father is considered an apostate and i haven't been allowed to talk to him for 14 years.

  now i don't even have any connections to him.

  i don't know anyone he knows and i don't even know basic things like where he lives.. any help on someplace where i could look him up would be appreciated..

  Both. My Dad tried to contact me when I was younger but my Mother wouldn't let him. Then, as I got older, I began to despise him because of what I had been told to think of apostates. Oh, the irony.

  The courts, as they often do, gave my Mother full costudy of me. I haven't seen him since I was 4.

  "Is he still in the city you expected? Close enough to contact him?"

  He's apparently just 100 miles away from me. I only have the phone number and location of his church. I just left a discreet message asking for the pastor to call my cell number when he can.

  I'm completely blown away by how easy this was. The harder part is going to be the awkwardness of that first phone call...

  My Boyfriend's not a Witness...

  alright, with my last post it should be obvious i'm in conflict...if it's not, then yeah.. my boyfriend is not a witness.

  he understands that witnesses can't marry or date non witnesses.

  but i guess could say we've been stalling...looking for a solution a gray area to that black and white situation...but with time getting as it is...stalling doesn't work anymore.

  You know your options. This thread is really about whether you are a hardcore enough witness to dump someone you love because the dogma says you should.

  Something tells me that you're close to your breaking point. There comes a time in every witness' life where they must choose whether they are willing to sacrafice this life for the promise of the next one.
