Tendencies toward fanaticism

in a "cause and effect" world detached from logical fallacy we probably would have an enormous drop in fanatical thinking and behavior.. but, we don't.. some of us fall prey to fallacious thinking.

we fail to sort out the facts.

we group our "cause" and our "effects" out of synch with actual data.. .

Mr. Terry, I've always appreciated your musings. Simply put, if we are in a weak emotional state for dependency and leadership. You will be a easy prey to be put under control by a group or individual.

for those of you with experience being asked this question.....or those of you that are/were elders........ what would happen if you responded to that question by saying "i don't know"?.

what would happen if you responded with "i choose not to answer that question."?

and then when they ask why, you say "because i wish to invoke my 5th amendment rights".

Just pulling your leg. I wouldn't go back there. Even........if they paid for my living expense, like the Governing Body. Even........if they paid for a plane flight and vacation, like the Governing Body. Even.......if I was given power and control over 7 million loyal followers, like the Governing Body. Hell I make go back to be one of them! What will it take me? Ahhhhh 30yrs?

Thanks for the info Barbara and Randy.

If they WT would put most of its literature on it's website and "encourage" the witnesses to get a e-reader or Tablet, then a majority of the witnesses would get one. Theirs cheap ones out there besides the ipad. I'm sure if the GB/Jehovah says get something, the witnesses will listen and scuff up the money.
