hello friends.
i have been away from the forum for a while and just wanted to drop in to say a quick hi to all.. i was looking through some of the posts and remembering how i felt a couple of years ago when my entire family walked away from the borg, and the reasons for leaving.
there was so much hurt and sadness, confusion and anger, and of course fear!.
The kids are living their lives, making their mistakes etc, but I'm there for them enjoying a relationship with them and loving them no matter what.
Isnt that what it's all about? :)
I'm so glad to hear you're doing so well Bliss. Thanks for your wonderful post. You offer great advice. I wish someone would have been around when I left to tell me that in time things would get better, instead of having to it out the hard way.

I'm actually at peace regarding that now. I do not believe the Witnesses literal interpretation of the "big A" (glad we're calling it that by the way since I always forget how to spell it)
When I was a witness, there was this nagging fear in the back of my head. I worried about it all the time. Now I do not. I dont think I "sin" because I'm not afraid of the "big A". I remember them teaching that if people didnt have that fear, and have someone higher to answer to then their life would be chaos. This is a LIE, you dont not have to live in fear in order to live a wholesome life as a good productive person.
to be honest with you I think more about the big "O" then the big "A" ;) (just had to throw that in there and ruin a perfectly good topic)

she didn't tell anyone so i changed her and thought to cheer her up i would take her to the park.
we went and got new clothes and sandals (stupid, stupid).

Scooby, I love ya man, but you cant make comments with certainly strong personalities in mind and not expect them to have something to say. On that note, I have nothing more to say...... I only have 2 more posts left and I'd rather use it to share a nice recipe :)
