Of course, and shortly after I left I did begin to date someone who wasnt a witness, who I "fell in love with". They tried to bring me up on another JC meeting about it, but I explained that I was no longer part of teh congreagtion and dating and marrying and unbeliever is just a principle, not a law by the way. So you cannot be DFd for it unless you are "immoral"

An average Americans view of the French people
by Maverick ini have just returned from spending a week in the company of frenchbabyface, (fbf) and would like to share some basic observation that i feel will enlighten my fellow countrymen and women about a people we, as a culture, actually know very little about.
i do believe the medias of both countries do not show their people an honest and forthright view of the other countries people.
the american media gives us almost no news of france and most of what we do get is not very positive.

tell us about the french women.
It was my experience when I was in France that the women were very low maintenance. In fact as an American woman I'm used to wearing makeup and dressing up. We went out one night and got lost and ended up in the "red light" district and were mistaken for prostitutes and chased down the street where we caught a taxi and I was hit by a car before making it inside.
As a woman in France I was gropped on the street and found the men to be VERY forward. I went with friends who were familiar with the Paris city and spoke fluent French. When I was by myself though, I found that even though I had my french phrase book people were annoyed with me, and wouldnt even help me enough to tell me where the toilets were.
Other than that I found the architecture to be absolutely beautiful and the city itself just dripping with history and culture. Though I would never visit again unless it was with a man, and he was fluent in the language.

muah Please know that you are a much better person for making the effort. It's terrible really. I would NEVER think of not letting Spencer see or talk to his mother. That is provided she actually wanted to. It's so terrible, with so many fathers out there who dont want a relationship with their children that you are being denied your's. Sometimes there just arent the right words for this situation. I hope you can find some peace knowing that you've tried. Please dont ever give up trying. Hopefully they'll come around. I will continue to hope this happens for you putty. I can only imagine your frustration right now. More muahs to you, I hate to see great people like yourself be treated unfairly

Farewell to the Gipper...President Reagen
by ThiChi infarewell to the gipper...president reagan
reagan set in motion many great policies that most today do not realize.
the fall of the ussr (do a search here for "sick bear" for the facts), killing inflation, cutting taxes while tripling the nations revenue (too bad congress did not follow suite and cut spending, as agreed), lifting the nations spirits and pride after many years of failed policies.

I'll admit I was a bit too young to care about politics while he was in office, or even the fact that he was a Republican. :)
But I do remember always watching him on TV. I remember his speaches and just how authoritative and charismatic he was. I have virtually no opinion about his foreign policies. But I think he was a great leader and humanitarian. I think for a president to represent our country you need that charisma that he exuded. I remember watching his speaches on tv and thinking to myself how much I wished he were my Grand Father. :)

If I was in Philly, I would most def be up for it. But that's a quite a ways from Cali. I'll send you a card and bake you a cake though. Shoot I might even pitch in for the Strippers.
Is this going to be your first b-day party?
