  Men With Older, Uglier Women.....

  i liked all the fuss on the thread about younger girls.

  i once was a younger girl, and i could command any man to do what i wanted because i was beautiful and young.

  now that i am older and uglier, i have to use my wits.

  Cheaters! -_-

  my biggest pet peeve in the world is people who cheat on their spouses or on their girlfriends or boyfriends.

  i have no idea why, i never even been in a relationship before, but it just ticks me off so much when i hear about people cheating or being cheated on.. i was talking with one person, aint gonna say his name, but he was talking about how he loved his wife with his whole heart.

  and she is the love of his life and different things, but he just found another to go along with his wife.

  I have had the respect of not telling my wife

  Is that respect? I've often thought what I dont know wont hurt me. But to me it's disrespectful to carry on in secret and make me feel like a COMPLETE IDIOT and so STUPID for not knowing. That's always been my thing in relationships, dont make me feel stupid. Then we go out with friends and everyone there knows but me. I mean how disrespectful, if I looked like a shmuck to everyone.

  My wife has always told me that if I have had or felt a need to cheat just dont tell her.

  I guess some women are just different that way. I for one feel that if my partner feels the need to cheat then there is no point in having a relationship. If I feel the need to cheat then there is a big problem as well. I could never do it, simply because of the guilt I would feel about hurting the person I care about. And if I felt like I could cheat without hurting them because I didnt care, well, I'd want to move on to someone I would care about hurting.

  sorry for the soap box, but this is a sore subject for me at the moment.

  An average Americans view of the French people

  i have just returned from spending a week in the company of frenchbabyface, (fbf) and would like to share some basic observation that i feel will enlighten my fellow countrymen and women about a people we, as a culture, actually know very little about.

  i do believe the medias of both countries do not show their people an honest and forthright view of the other countries people.

  the american media gives us almost no news of france and most of what we do get is not very positive.

  Sorry, I'm on a roll today. I just went to see The Day After Tomorrow. It sucked really bad, but I went to see 1) because I was bored 2) because it was so heavily promoted, and I have no self-control against heavy promotion :)

  Well CG you certainly do have a fantastic wit. Something tells me you didnt just develop that in your "old age" :)

  I'm a firm believer that looks fade. At 24 I still consider myself young, and I'm sure I'm considered young by most other's standards. I have to tell you though, most everyone I've dated have said they've dated me for my personality. Not my young supple body :) (kidding of course)

  I get irritated when people put so much emphasis on looks. I've dated quite a variety of people, different ages, races, fat and thing, tall and short, old and young. I've dated your "good looking" and your "not so good looking" I dont care. If you're boring and dumb as a door knob but really good looking I'm not having it. In all honesty sure men sometimes want to "date" "trophy" women, but settling down with someone who you can wake up with in the morning EVERY morning with sleep crackels in your eye I think take priority.

  p.s. can you teach me some of your "commanding" skills? I'd like to learn how to use them before I have to survive off my wit alone :) j/k

  when i read stories, even on this website, about people finding love and having great experiences in life i just can't help but get terribly jealous over it and start to think about it for hours.

  I quit placing lots of importance on women. I can survive fine without a woman.

  p.s. I wanted to add that NOS has some great advice. It's teh same for women too. Some people just can never be "alone" without a relationship. The best step you'll ever make is the day you can learn to be happy with youself, by yourself. There really is so much more to life than a boyfriend or girlfriend.

  i can't believe that some of you actually advised that he go out and get laid. if you are already emotional getting laid will not help that...in fact it might make it worse especially being a virgin.

  OS I think sometimes you are much smarter than your age. This can be very frustrating. I too get jealous of people with these beautiful realtionships. I get jealous of the men on here who love their wives, and girlfriends and have no problem telling others about it. It's a natural thing. You have to remember that those who have finally found a great person in many cases had to go through some crap ones first. You too will have to do that. Rarely does a 16 year old find and fall in love with the "love of their lives". Only in the movies my friend. You should continue learning like you have, and it's good that you're a deep enough thinker to recognize things about yourself that alot of people dont figure out till they're much later in life. That's a good thing, you should be picky then, and realize that it will take a special girl to live up to your standards!!!! Dont rush in to anything. You sound like the type of person who "banging a bunch of chicks" will only make feel empty.

  As for the boys with those suggestions, well...... they're pimps so you gotta love them

  any suggestions for my "family problems"

  it is very hard to condense 30 yrs of "in-law abuse" into a sentence or two, but hopefully some of you can relate and if you have found a way to cope/deal with it i'm all ears.

  basically, my spouse and i have stayed together for 30-plus yrs because of being witnesses, despite extreme differences of values and goals.

  half-way thru the lives of our children we both discovered the fallacies of wts and thankfully left this simultaneously.
