Sorry but I don't think that many will disclose their location to brand new members on their first post.
Tell us more about yourself etc and you might have some success.

i am receiving all the letters/e-mails from bethel, i receive time reports(s4) from publishers and i also have access to all cong.
files, including jc information.. i am to a certain extend running our cong., so i am essentially the ceo of the cong.. what a feeling ex-bro's and sis's!
i never actually thought i'll be the ceo of any organisation in my life, thanks to jw's i now have the opportunity to "call the shots".. funny thing is they don't know that i am on a mission to "liquidate" this "company"(wbts)..
Bullshit!
was there an official or unofficial reason that anyone knows of?.
it seems to me that pretty much every publication was studied at the book study, but we never did that one..
I don't recall studying it. I remember it was queried why not as it had questions in it.
I do vaguely recall studying a brochure that had bits about various other religions beliefs about what happens after death.
I heard from my parents that in the past the book to be studied was announced by Head Office but no schedule was supplied so every group was at a different chapter etc depending on how fast the conductor was. I think that this stopped some time in the 70s.
it seems to me there's a different taste palate across the us.
for example, i grew up in nj the food had alot of flavor but not so hot & peppery.
now in ohio the food seemed somewhat bland.
British food can be fairly bland for my tastes. Personally, I love Indian and Mexican food so love a bit of a kick on most things.
i was reading some education-related threads on here and i'm curious about something.
i haven't been out too long, and while i was in, i was farsighted enough to get my college degree part-time at night.
i kind of knew i'd be out someday and would need it... anyway, since i've been out, i've been going to law school.
If she wants to be a lawyer she's going to have to learn how to spell!
I know a few witnesses who went back to college when they were in their 20s and 30s. Some do realise that being able to support yourself is really important.
what can you tell me about jehovah's witnesses and their individual debts?
- - do you see people get overextended on credit card debt?.
- - is there an atititude that since the armegheddon is going to come "any time" that it's ok to charge up the debt?.
Maybe they're in debt by putting their contributions on their credit cards at the assemblies!
i just watched the bbc panorama program about jw's and their child abuse problems on you tube.. i havn't seen it since it was first aired.
i was watching it and recalling what my reaction was when i saw it for the first time as a commited devout jw.. before the program aired the congregation called a extrodinary meeting in which a letter was read out from bethal.
they seemed to back up every point they made by a scripture read out by another brother also on the platform.
same here highdose.
I recall that the programme was aired on a Sunday and that the letter was read at the thursday meeting. We never heard this as it was aired the week of our district convention. It was talked about that it was all lies etc but now I watch it and see how deceptive the org is.
The one thing I do remember was a poster being glued to our kingdom hall door so stop child abuse. The KH i attended was in a block of flats and had just a regular gloss painted door and there was a reminder for a few weeks after as the poster didn;t come off that easily!
i'm reading crisis of conscience right now and even raymond franz mentioned in his book that ted jaracz didnt vote during governing body sessions based off of 'a gut feeling' like dan sydlik and lyman swingle did, but voted based off of having 'a mean spirit (dont quote me on that) but bascially got an overall vibe that ted jaracz was not a very nice man.
and whats this about the child abuse policy that he enforced?
what did he do that made every ex-jw's in america hate him?
We do not go beyond the things that are written.
OK. So where in the Bible does it say that a judicial committee should ask inappropriate questions? Where in the Bible does it say that abuse should be covred up?
....watch the video, what if we were to substitute the word islam (in the video) for watchtowerism.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcbptzalqfy.
Cantleave - best idea! I hate the daily mail - such a one-sided newspaper.
I know a couple of muslims who became JWs and were treated in exactly the same was as JWs leaving "the truth".
I also know a few muslims since I left and they are very tolerant, moderate and modern and have changed my viewpoint on Islam. Yes, you get extremism but you need to remember that there are hundreds of millions of Muslims and the extremists are only a small percentage of them.
will anyone please tell me how many hours you have to put in if you are.
- a publisher.
- a pioneer (all the different kinds of 'em).
The official answer for publishers (both baptised and unbaptised) is to do as much as you can.
Of course, if this means 1 hour a month they will hound you that you're not doing more.
For elders and ministerial servants I think they need to meet the national average as reported in the Kingdom Ministry.
