  What is the Biblical basis JWs are not allowed to 'witness' in churches?

  since the wt claims to model itself off the 1st century christians, why this change?.

  a greater sense of justice than god?

  this subject has been slightly touched on in other recent threads but i'd like to give this subject a debate of its own.

  do you/did you think that humans had in a way a greater sense of justice than god?.

  for example: animals never disobeyed god, but they still suffered the consequences of humans sin, animals dying in pain or terror etc.

  For example: Animals never disobeyed god, but they still suffered the consequences of humans sin, animals dying in pain or terror etc

  People who die at armargedon who havn't become Jw's will be destroyed forever but people who have already died who weren't JW's will be resserrected and given a 2nd chance.

  Children dying of childhood illnesses before theyv'e even had a chance to live, just because a point has to be made about who should rule the universe

  and more if you want to supply it...

  today, i'm not quite sure how it started, but i voiced my concerns about the religion i've been brought up in since i was 3. my dad went straight on the offensive, though kept nice and polite.

  i told them that someone can not be df for accepting a transfusion.

  not sure why i started with that example, but nevertheless... dad said 'since when' and started pumping me for information, when, where, what...you get the picture and biggest one of all 'how do you know this'.

  boozing as a jw

  i got babtized at the age of 23. i was not a so called born in guy.

  i started studying the bible at 20, and before that i never heard of the jw-religion.

  so everything was pretty new for me.. to make a long story short: a month or so after baptizm, i felt probably lonley one evenig and got drunk right out of my brains.

  Questions young people actualy ask...

  in my youth i never once found that this long running seris of articles by the borg ever addressed what i really wanted to know, nor did they really offer any answers to the questions they posed themselves in the articles.

  it was normaly " should i do this thing that is fun and normal?

  " answer "no, you should go on the ministry more and tell the elders about your youthfull desires so that they can punish you ( lovingly(!)".

  It was easy to conclude that by having different questions than the ones posed i was actualy a bad person. Just in case there are any "young ones" lurking i'd like to point out that this is not the case at all. Here are some of the questions you should be asking and that will never appear in that crazy magazine...

  Questions young people ask:

  "How much longer is this mind numbing meeting going to go on for?"

  "How can i get out of going to the meetings?"

  "How can i get out of the ministry and really go down the pub instead?"

  "Is crusty musty old guy really qualifed to tell me how to live my life ( considering that hes wasted his in a cult)?"

  "Whats actualy wrong with getting drunk?"

  "I suspect theres nothing wrong with wearing the latest fashion, their just trying to control me, am i right?"

  "Why are my so called JW "freinds" so horrible to me?"

  "Why do i have to attain certain JW spirtual points before the opposite sex will take me seriously?"

  "Why can't i be freinds with those nice kids from school? yes their worldly but their alot nicer than my peers in the congo!"

  "If parties are meant to be evil hotbeds of vice, then why are there so many of them, and why do my freinds say they are fun?"

  "Which is better? a lazy sunday morning or a mind controling talk?"

  "Why does this religon make me feel so bad about myself?"

  i picked up a six pack of foster's (never tried it before) and i must say, it's prettty danged good.

  i got no sleep at all last night... this was mostly because i was dancing on tabletops in nightclubs.

  and also because i'd had way too much to drink, but mostly because i was having a great time!!

  i got home around the time that everyone else was getting up.. it was soooo good!

  "first and foremost, plenty of fresh air, go for a brisk walk, secondly a freezing cold shower/bath(plunge), thirdly a paracetamol for the headache, fourth, tomato juice, with some Lee & Perrings, a raw egg, plenty of salt(re hydration is vital) plenty of lemon juice,pepper, plenty of Tobasco,stir well and drink"

  JB are you serious??!! maybe your having a laugh? ok the air i can do. walking no way, i could manage crawling though. Hot shower later, have taken pain killers and theres no way i'm drinking that potion. All its missing is eye of newt!!!

  you know what...? i almost wish JW's would appear on my doorstep now. I'd love to tell them " hey you freaks! you have no idea what your missing! get a life, you could have a fantastic life just go out there and grab it!"

  but i think they would look at my grey face, smeared with last nights makeup which i have not wiped off yet, and look at me having to hold on to things to stop my knees from buckling and.... i doubt they would belive me... shame

  it was soooo good! but words cannot describe how i feel now!

  i need help! suggestions please?!?!
