  my user name highdose i chose because after leaving the borg i was on a high dose of anti depressants to help me cope.. i'm happy to report that my user name is no longer accurate!

  after many weeks of cutting the dose down i am now off the pills totaly!:).

  such a relief!

  Such a relief! It signals that i'm over the worst of the damage that a lifetime of being in a cult did to me, my head feels soooo much clearer!

  this was a favorite way of getting away from the very unloving "loving brothers and sisters".

  hide in the toilets, no one can collar you and tell you off.

  and even better you won't be in amongst a group of people but still feeling so alone... at least you will actauly be alone!.

  I know of several sisters who did this, purely because they felt so lonely...

  Has anyone else encountered this?

  Jehovah's Witnesses - Trained to Argue

  although a cult, jehovah's witnesses should not be underestimated as to their smarts.

  sometimes, exiting jw's, due to indoctrination, feel a lot of guilt for leaving.

  of course, the governing body wouldn't have it any other way.. upon leaving, many for the first time feel a freedom to express themselves, which is as it should be.

  i've always hated arguing with anyone. These days the only people i argue with are JW's. Otherwise i prefer a quiet life, i mean.. does it really matter wether your own opionion is better or worse than anyone else? In the bigger picture? in the wider world...

  i noticed a couple of well dressed men in dark suits passing by my window.

  i jumped up to have a closer look and saw a whole hoard of witnesses in the street knocking on my neighbours doors.
