  Slow to anger? yeah right(!)

  the god of the new testement is descriped as being slow to anger, yet the god of the old testement is anything but.

  in fact its a wonder any of the israelites got to the promised land considering how fond their god was of killing them off!.

  please provide me with some proof of this slowness of anger or some reason for this contradiction?.

  being an ex cult member i don't understand this... i walk into town and back and on my way theres always these men driving past in cars who honk their horns at me.

  is it some form of comunication?

  am i supposed to respond in some way???.

  i also discovered that when JW's did jobs for me, they would give me poor standard ( read cheap) products and lousy service too.

  In fact in the end i would never hire a JW to do a job for me, i always got an outsider... the result was excellent service and good standard products used.

  oh yes ive had my fellow loving Brothers and Sisters take advantage of me many a time due to the fact that they wanted my services and i was a JW. Alot of them expecting me to work for free and getting very anoyed when they didn't get a free ride.

  KH Air con wars

  i'm wondering if i was the only one to experiance a congo where the elders had constant air con wars?.

  the elders seemed to be divded into three extreme camps 1) like it cold 2) liked it warm 3) felt that unless every avaivble door and window was open then they would sufforcate!.

  during the meeting these different elders would be up down up down to the air con controls at the back of the hall, changing the settings non stop.

  During the meeting these different elders would be up down up down to the air con controls at the back of the hall, changing the settings non stop. Not to mention the open close open close of the doors! It caused real resentment in the congo, and meant if the cold air elder was not there, the hall would be stiffingly hot. If the hot air elder was gone the hall would be freezing cold!!

  Birthday confusion! help!

  i'm ( yes moi) organising a birthday party for a 50 year old, but i need to know, at what point in the party is the cake supposed to be presented???.

  i have no idea, and feel too embarrsed to ask a "worldly".

  its a surprise dinner out. for someone else. I'm keeping things traditional basicly because for me traditional has never been done!
