  i am sick and tired of people putting down posters like the andersons!

  they work hard to expose some things we might never have known about.

  why some find fault with them, or ray franz before them, or maximus when he was here is beyond me.. be thankful for those that decide to come here and share what they know about this organization.. we get elders who are still in their positions and they share with us a lot of interesting news and perspectives.

  This is so ironic. We come from a religion that says this to us all the time, shut the hell up, they say. Now you say the same. Fine, Simon. Just fine.

  The Governing Body says it because they don't want waves, I presume it is said here for the same reason. Too bad really but it does show one thing, we are all the same.

  For what it's worth, not much I know, I do agree with james_woods. Overly sensationalizing a topic gives hope to many of us here that something will happen. Barbara does have a history of doing this. Ray Franz did not do this sort of thing. This statement says it all to me:

  "Are you doing this because I'm a woman (not a man) who climbed the Watch Tower ladder to the top and now pass along the information to help prove that this religion is a sham that terribly hurts people?" What top? Ray was at the "top", a Watchtower reseacher is nothing more than a Watchtower reseacher. There is no "top" Barbara that you have attained.

  If I remember correctly, possibly not, Hawkings believed the universe was slowing down. Something which today has been disproven. Either way, things change. "New light" is not something limited to the JWs alone. Science is always moving forward and much of what is believed today will likely be disproved tomorrow.

  Is there a Logical explanation for the spooky things happening at my daughter, Ali's house?!?!!!!

  ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.

  here are a few of the things that happened:.

  about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.

  Your daughter should report this to the police. Perhaps there are other similar incidents in the area that have been reported. It could be a local prankster or worse, either way imo, filing a police report will document the matter if future incidents should occur.

  There has been much written here that claims to disprove the Bible's worth, creation, and the existence of God. Are you now saying that nothing can be written on this same forum that can prove evolution? Interesting. Evolution cannot be proven on this forum but the non-existence of God can be?

  i was talking to my mother-in-law (an avid jw).

  the subject of evolution came up briefly and she said that evolution was just a bunch of propaganda.. i mean refering to evolution articles as propaganda?
