  Convention drama

  i did'nt like the convention (no surprice), but what do i hate the drama on saturday.

  a shocking inside look in a jw perfect family.

  the solution of their problems are stupid.

  Yes JimmyPage, you are right. The normal things in family life are presented like a danger.

  The family worship evening has become a hugh status. Things are not running ok. How is your family worship evening?

  Things are running bad? Brother, you have to reduce your working hours! Pioneer! Just like younger days!

  Evolution lessons at High School? You know that Jehovah made everything like it is! Simple.

  I was shocked to see how brother Wrong was thinking. His reasoning, was so simple. Every problem was the problem of "The system of things".

  He is an everage sample of the thinking level of JW's (including me sometimes!!).

  Applause!!! Applause!!! Shit, pain in my hands.

  I did'nt like the convention (no surprice), but what do I hate the drama on saturday. A shocking inside look in a JW perfect family. The solution of their problems are stupid. To let somebody else ruling in your family life (brother and sister xxx in the basement).

  The drama seems to be realistic, because many of JW family's look like, but are not perfect and a family head has to do something.

  But this was shocking. Shortening workhours of dad, less shop till your drop for mum and girl and hang the music in the tree's for little boy.

  After every part many JW applaused their hands in pieces.

  When I noticed this I had to laugh, even when I had so many sad feelings, the observers view...

  i had a conversation with a friend previously mentioned on this forum.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/members/private/206541/1/dinner-with-one-of-my-best-and-most-liberal-jw-friends.

  we were speaking about a mutual friend who was disfellowshipped, and i mentioned that i missed them and wondered if they were okay because it wasn't like disfellowshipped people were dead to us...and he immediately responded "oh yes they are!".

  this is really out of his character to say.

  assemblies and my lovely wife

  i finally put a couple of pieces together that have boggled me for years.. i would take my family to the conventions and assemblies and for some reason, my wife would always be upset or start an argument in the car on the way home, or in the week that follows.

  i realize now that her frustration is that i am not the guy in the demonstrations.

  you know, the guy who has the bestfriend/elder who always says the perfect thing and the guy is so humble and does this little talks-to-himself thing where he reveals his deep spirituality and applies the ever-so-wise words of his friend and after that life is just great again!.

  The demonstrations at conventions are these days crazy. Not realistic at all. So I'm only frustrated at conventions because I drive an old car and don't own a big mercedes, BMW or volvo SUV, last year there were even 2 Hummers at the parking of the convention. Brother corporate parked just his car there!

  they still give my husband km for me.

  i truly do not know why so i was flipping through the july one and it made me so mad, another example of us not doing enough.. "nelena, who is 19 years old and lives in bulgaria, had two desires-to be baptized and to auxiliary pioneer.

  however, she suffers from hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy, which for the moment is incurable.

  How Many on JWNet are still JWs?

  i've been wondering about this for some time.

  if there are 60,000+ registered users on here, what percentage are actual non-dfed or non-daed witnesses?

  if it was 1/3, that would be over 20,000 active/inactive witnesses that post and read these pages- and that's huge.

  I'm officialy still in. But lost my believe in the watchtower organisation. I'm attending sometimes for keeping my family together.

  No guilt, i'm beyond that point.

  15 years ago I read Ray Franz, and new enough.

  It feels like losing my believe in Santaclaus.

  I'm 4th generation JW.

  I hate the religion. Got the stamp JW when I was born...

  at least, when i lift my cup of coffee to my lips, sitting here at starbucks, my hand is trembly.. i hate that!.

  Scary how programmed JW's are, we were brainwashed! It took my years to become myself again and stop listening to those idiots. Although I visit the KH sometimes for keeping up family relations, I hate this religion! It's very hard to stay away for ever, because I don't want to lose my children and some important family relations... I wish i'm once reaching a point to say goodbye to this instant and insane religion.

  I don't like this picture. Because of the racist nature of it. If it was a white hand, would she stop then? This lonely pioneer sister that has her needs.. Why is it a nice black person that we have to care for?!?

  I'm from the Netherlands, NIETS TE DANKEN.

  I cannot tell from what congregation, because i'm still attending, not regular but sometimes.

  I hate this religion but I don't want to lose my family.
