  WTS closes/dissolves 435 congregations in 29 countries

  as listed in 2013 yearbook.. yes, most countries have increases in congregations.

  most of the countries that have less congregations than last year, show 1 or 2 less.

  however, poland shows a dramatic 327 congregations less, from 1,814 (2011) to 1,487. netherlands, 25 less congregations.

  Situation @ The Netherlands: the Society closed in 2012 mainly all the foreign field congregations and let them merged into the Dutch congregations. A few foreign congregation (English language) still exists, the others (Most of all English, and all French, Arab, Papiamento, Russian) closed definitely down. That must be the reason of the decline of congregation numbers in The Netherlands.

  The closing of the foreign field congregations was backed by the story that Dutch witnesses went to the foreign congregation for being out of sight of their original congregation, a kind of fade away.

  it's good to see the jwd community gives a global support to each other, in good and in difficult times.. this year i had many good and many difficult times, i think you recognize.. i hope we all have a good 2013 in peace and harmony with our loved ones, the people that really care for us.. a friend told me recent: don't forget the people who really care for you (because i'm too buzy with people who don't care about me: jw).. have a good time all!.

  "if it was'nt for the preaching work there would be millions more witnesses" - he was saying jehovah wants quality not quantity.. si i'm thinking, what's the difference as long as he has a people that live by bible standards and are moral.

  maybe sharing their hope and faith with friends and relatives on a casual basis?

  how backwards is that?.

  letter was read yesterday that the 'listen, obey' dvd (featuring sparlock) will no longer be produced starting in january, 2013 (midwest us).

  the content will be available only on line at jw.org.

  future releases of video or songs in the same series will also be available only online.

  I went to the K-hall with my son. I wish i did not. This was a terrible Watchtower article. I feel they did try to breake my personality. Independence from the congregation is being loyal to Satan. I wanted to shout "f*ck *ff all" and leave the hall for the last time.

  I did not. I have still headache, what a propaganda article, this religion has a bad attitude.

  They said also that "elders are Jehovah's mouthpieces", the seven stars.

  A Mormon becomes a JW in the Feb 2013 Watchtower...

  it's interesting how, in the story, the young man's jw aunt and uncle switch him from mormonism to the jw faith using third-party material (the nov 8, 1995 awake!

  article), and he ends up becoming a jw after confirming on the official mormon website that the claims in the awake!

  The DO told us at the recent CA that he and his wife got started to be pioneers after they discussed "If the mormons spent 2 years of their live preaching, why can't we, having the truth, not starting to be a pioneer?"

  since the annual meeting 2012 news about the adjusted fds doctrine, gorby has followed all the news about it, thought about it every day.

  just like the times of the 1995 generation adjustment.

  Cedars - thanks for your reply. I read your post about the family visit. It is so clearly recognizable!!

  Last week I visit the KH and got the same questions, an old sister asked me "Brother, what is your name, i forgot it."

  Then she asked "Is your work the reason of not attending regulary?", "Is your wife not attending anymore?".

  I answered all the questions honnest. "My name is xxxxx". "No, my work is not the reason of not attending regulary".

  "No, my wife is not attending anymore". I did it with a smile, but when I got into the car with one of my kids, I had to sigh deeply.

  These are the difficult issues confronting us.

  Since the annual meeting 2012 news about the adjusted FDS doctrine, Gorby has followed all the news about it, thought about it every day. Just like the times of the 1995 Generation adjustment. Made some postings on JWD. Talked about it with Gorby's lovely wife.

  And then came a depressed feeling, a depressed mood. Some light headache. Bad sleep. Bad mood, like a grunchy old man at 42 years. Flashbacks of my youth and my happy JW parents. Feeling angry about the believe.

  I told a friend yesterday, It feels like 5 generations of JW legacy feeling heavy on my shoulders. Relativize all my feelings because of the hypocrisy of our JW believe.

  Feeling fear about my own family, wife and children, how do we survive this religion? Without losing all our family.

  It feels not good. )):
