frankiespiekin, there is something going on. I am not sure the situation is now bad for them. My opinion is that new advisors have done their job at headquarters, get so much influence as you can, take so much moeny as you can.

I think they use their assets for enormous investments on a scale you and I can only dream of. They must have a dealingroom or something like that.

Just like the most rich people on earth. They park their money day by day in a country with the most revenue.

Today the UK or US, tomorrow Dubai. I think they move their assets with one mouse click.

They are not in need. They are an property and investment vehicle.

I hate to say this, because once it was my organization, my life. Now i'm in a fade, it hurts me to see how the rank and file are used for money and assets reasons. Jo and Mandy Publisher are poor sheeps.

St George of England, thanks for the information. The amount in this Trust must be enormous, since a kingdom hall is an investment of 1 milion euro, here in the Netherlands.

For the Watchtower Society it would be an enormous boost of the left side of the ballance sheet in their administration.

The worldwide property can be used for enormous mortages for the Society.

It's scary how they changed unseen from a end time religion into a property fund. No more and no less.

committeechairman, its about the ownership of the congregational property (hall and other property, like living quarters above halls).

In The Netherlands, the ownership of all these property has to be transferd to the Watchtower Society. The ownership will be centralised.

There is a lot of oposition, mostly from witness who live in a living quater above a kingdom hall, like special pioneers and some "normal" rank-and-file witness. They are told by the Society that they have to leave the property as soon as possible.

It seems the organization is taking all assets that are possible.

The organizational decrete is written in a BOE dated 25 april, in the Netherlands.

The BOE 25 letter anounces the transfer of all local congregation property incl halls and appartements to the Watchtower Society.

Worldwide we could talk about a billions euro property transfer and definly making the Society a property fund.

Let's tally up, what has the WTS sold and how much money did they receive?

the wts is begging poor relatives of mine for money, more money, and more money.

but, the wts has to be awash in money!.

1. does anyone know what the wts has sold?

I followed the transactions since the first sell off at Brooklyn.

They got 1 billion Dollar.

The remaining buildings owned in Brooklyn are valued for another 1 billion Dollar.

So they have done good business.

It's crazy with the new donation arrangement they will get much more miney.

It seems there is never enough. Why? I don't know. Did they lost much at the crisis in 2008? Who knows.

My view is that the WTS is now reformed to a property fund. The religion part of it is the financial resource.

after knowing ttatt for many years now...i had made up my mind long ago that after 2014, i would no-longer subject myself to the boredom, pain, and frustration of following this cult...the wt...the borg.. so...i made up my mind that since the wtbts/gb makes such a big deal as to the "significance" of the year 1914 and this year 2014, there can be no greater time for me to leave it all behind.

i daydreamed of how awesome and telling it would be if everyone that could ( because i do know that some have personal circumstances of their own, as i did too) would just .... walkout...never to attend/step foot in a kingdom hall from that moment on.. independence day of sorts?

there is too much evidence, too many videos, blogs, books, news reports and lawsuits for me to keep lying to myself.

It's most of all a social system. The bogus is just colleteral.

People stay for family reasons and for their weekly contacts they enjoy. The dates are not relevant for them.

At the moment you begin to think and analyze you have a problem that leads to fading and exit.

It's just like 1984.

Moral assholes are the leaders on top. They know it's all crap and stay for their status.

i was knocked into a deep, deep sleep by the imagined experience of being at several thousand consecutive kingdom halls as the platformed drones spat forth the predictable sludge that, once released, hits and stains white clothing and bleach is useless.. we know that memorial attendance worldwide has dipped for two consecutive years since 2011 when it reached a high of 19,374,737 and for the promised land, obama's usa, the all time memorial attendance high was also 2011 when it hit over 2.5million (2,563,518) but shrunk in shame back to 2,502,055 in 2012 and spluttered upwards a handful or two to 2,504,114 last year.. so, what was attendance at the date-obsessed bore-fest this year in your neck of the woods?
