I think the intentions could be ok.

But... how far it is from the first christian situation.

Jw.org acts like a new technology corporation.

Why they need this intel?

It's better that organization and believer keep some distance.

Example:

Brother X. is been involved in some serious crime.

Can watchtower react "we have no relation with this person" if they have this amount of trace and tracking?

Weird.

i remember an elder questioning a woman who had admitted to giving and receiving oral sex from her unbelieving mate.

he asked her the most intimate questions which clearly flustered her.

interestingly, she “confessed “ to the elders because her conscience bothered her.

A CO at the circuit assembly: “don’t complain. If you are a cleaner now because you went pioneering and brother x has a house and a new car. It was your decision to pioneer”.

it blow my head off to hear such a cold saying.

G’s lovely JW mother “we can always trust the brothers”.

G’s good JW father: “If you quit, don’t write a letter of DA. They will hang you”.

Elder: “does your garden behind your new house have a separate exit? You will need it during Armageddon”.

Elder during elder meeting: “some one here must made a serious sin. I feel the holy ghost is not present”.

Elder during servant meeting: “brothers tell us your opinion about the elders performance. Let your hart spreak, it will have no consequentions”. I was sitting next to him and asked “why are you making detailed notitions including names?”

The Happyness book.

They published it in the dark early eighties. Made no one happy.

Remembering the elders made a huge copy of the book; an enourmous golden book stand on the platform. That made some impression, G. was 10 years old.

Makes me sad thinking about all these books. Once studied they lost their value.

Instant knowledge to keep the rank and file busy.

Meeting Days Felt Different?

i dont know if it was the same for you, but for me when i was a jw meeting days seemed to have a black cloud hanging over them.

on thursdays i knew i would be going to the meeting that evening.

that i would be getting into my meeting clothes at 6:30pm, leaving the house at 6:55pm and be sat in the kingdom hall from 7:15pm-9pm, then milling around for about half an hour before finally getting home for 10pm.

Yep, remember the feeling, even more when I had an assignment at the meeting. A few evenings preperation.

Never missed this any moment.

Remembering my last assignment at the service meeting, leaving the platform knowing it was my last time there. Never felt better in my life!

i remember getting my ass beat .

in 1987 / 1988 for listening to atlantic star.

they had a song called always.. my mother sat me down anmd told me listening to music like that would just rile up my emotions and make me look for a girl to fornicate with.. like at the age of 10 i was going to take it to that level.. my mother later banned r and b from our home.... i find it all hilarious now, but a friend of mine actually sent me a link to the jw broadcast and said i had to watch this.. i told him there was no way, but he said just start at the 50:40 mark.. i do not believe that this is what the org is doing now???.
