  Dutch convention: disassociation in broader perspective

  today at the utrecht international convention in holland there was no "word in spanish" about dissassociation.. "we avoid any contact with dissassociated witnesses.

  not only sinners, but in a broader perspective, also inactive witnesses".. there was a lot of noise in the hall direct after that moment.. so, no fading escape in the near future, i expect.. g..

  Dissassociation has not taken in the letter, it has a broader aspect, was said in Utrecht. Not for sins only, also with inactive witness no contact.

  An explicit and new, strict rule.

  Yes they did. A very sad movie, parent not answering the telephone call of their DA daughter.

  The concluding message was "don't be sentimental, be loyal to Jehovah".

  No email, app or facebook wit DA family was said also.

  this is the first photographic evidence i have seen that the kingdom halls in peru, like the ones in chile, put up their national flag for their independence day celebrations.

  i had heard rumors about it before, but now we have evidence.

  don't know if we'll have to wait till next year for more evidence, but now i have both peru and chile on my list of places to go and visit!.

  Saename, you can rationalize this. But:

  If an religion is stating that they are the only true religion, based on one of the facts that they use the true name of God. Than there is a problem. Because the real name is not known and choosen by the religion because of the use of it in one of the many languages of the world.

  Assembly Hall and Gentleman's Club

  the spanish exjw forum is burning fire with the massive sale of jw kingdom halls and an assembly hall in spain, each week new listing places appears.

  would jw survive in this country??

  Here in Holland they sold one of the two assembly halls for approx 10 million euro and expanded the other existing one.

  So the Northern part of the country visit the expanded hall in Holland and the Southern part of the country will use a Belgium hall.

  So no external halls will be rent for conventions, they use the expanded hall for small conventions in the summer.

  It is a business thing: they keep all the money in their own pocket now, also for the conventions. Money is rolling to one side now.

  Splane is on his way to Holland this weekend for the dedication of the expanded hall. Maybe he will tell the Dutch JW's more about the generation teaching.

  European Prospective 2017-2022

  the new "business plan" for jw.org in europe has already received a name within the org: european prospective 2017-2022.. this plan is already on the table of the big guys in the us.

  in the practice it has been already getting the approval of the majority.

  so, no surprise at all to vote it.. essential features of the "business plan":- sale of all branches in the eu, except germany and uk (the latter benefits from brexit and certain privileged position)- all printing and digital material prepared and printed from germany- in each country, a local liaison office is left, certainly no more than 3-4 families.- free part-time worker is boosted from home, cheaper and hastle-free !- money to the new entity formed in belgium, as a non-profit organization (ibsa goodbye ...)- the most complicated ... who will care for the data of european jw ... confidential information and color envelopped with sensitive information.... enjoy the new european jw times !.

  Thanks. I believe you. All the recent changes must have been a part of a businessplan 2005 - 2015 or something similar. They are a multi bilion corporation and do nothing on the flow. There is so much influence and money involved that it can't be without a plan.

  Elders intervening in family issues

  does anyone know of any good scriptures or reference articles that i can show an elder to hopefully have him stop intervening in a family issue?

  i already told him that i am the head of the house and that they're usurping my headship but they didn't seem to get the message.
