Ok, let's start about the local comments here:

To start with the best one:brother former foreign field said: the brothers on the right are just like members of a motor club. They could have some good intensions initialy but have not a Christian look and feel.

Second best: brother bus driver made the comment that from a long distance you can see the brothers at the right are ambitious. He concluded that bodytalk says everything, also in the congregation.

Final, old brother funny said: the right pair of brothers want to show their expensive socks. That's not what christians wants to do, is it?

It's sad to see how this belief is going down to nihilist minds.

In the WT - France dispute, witness did organized demonstrations in front of EU buildings in Strassbourg and Brussels. I have in my archive some pictures of this demonstrations. No witness believed me when I informed them. Inpossible, JW's dont demonstrate they replyed. But they do, when asked by the Society. It was fully organized incl. banners and hired busses.

hearing of sisters doing humble work in the congregation:.

how is it feel if you are a women with ambitions, well educated, maybe born very smart, you know what you want.. and then you see the elders, some simple, some very strict and some act like idiots.. and you know you're role is to be the one of housewife, pioneer and coffee vollenteer in the kh.. i did not see any ambisious jw girl in my youth maybe they did hide it.

but what a frustration there must be.. how do you see this aspect?.

I think the JW woman rights is one of the most underrated topics.

We deal with doctrine, disassosiation, property investments bla bla, but might miss the elephant in the room.

GB asks every JW to give Putin their home address

jw's around the globe have been encouraged to write letters to putin and the russian government.

they are expected to give their personal details on the envelope.

i appreciate that this might be normal when writing to your own government if they are tolerant, but is this not a bit strange that the gb want to give putin the address of every jw in the world?

So governments can trace and track them everywere.

Do JW members follow any directive from GB blindly?

following from the worldwide campaign to send letters to the russian government: topic covered here.. i started observing a scary trend, i got around 100 messages on multiple messaging apps, facebook and other social media posts encouraging all jws to send letter to the russian government protesting on the ban with the hope they will overturn it.. what struck me is that all are doing it and encouraging others to do it.

so, what if the gb via jw.org request something like street protests, civil disobedience, to the extreme of voting for or against a particular law or fighting (far-fetched).. what would the jw membership do, not the awakened one?

in addition, i feel this exercise exposes the awakened ones.

WHY does the WT leadership not visit the Russia government? Why using a non effective paper protest?

WT has lobby people in DC. Let them contact the Russian embassy and negotiate. Do consessions.

Save your followers from this all and not your property.

Maybe both parties are strategic better of with this conflict.

This will only strengten the government. They can and will warn for foreign involvement and have an example: this action.

WTS is doing this to prevent losing property. They did earlier in history in Germany, France.
