  2018 Courage Convention video invitation

  the video invitation for the 2018 convention is just creepy.

  i thought it was some parody at first as it seems 'dark'.it begins with a young man being pushed whilst standing at his locker and the voice over says that 'in critical times we need courage more than ever'.

  next, comes a clip of a male putting his hand on the shoulder of a female worker, the look she gives him would be enough to give him nightmares for the next year.

  They know exactly what their target point is. Internal recrutement. The message is far more important to tell the rank and file how bad the outside world is and not to flee away from "mother".

  Before they released the revised version in 2017 here in Holland, they gave away thousands of the old version during the Bible exhibit the same year.

  Special small edition.

  Why? Can't understand.

  And the revised version is only released for publishers. At the evening meeting most attendence got one, but some did not 😁

  do you remember the first time you found out "the truth about the truth"?.

  yes, it was confronting, shocking and life altering.

  yes it was hard to deal with.. but, along with that, many have said that they experienced a sense of thrill, euphoria, or joy when realising the facts about the religion that held us captive mentally and physically for so long.. it was liberating to learn some of the controversial teachings etc.

  It was breathtaking for me. Shocking. I was angry. Don't miss this period in time for me. Generation change, Insight book, Daniel and Isiah books did it all. Then Ray Franz CoC. Hourglass forum, the Internet of 1997. Later this forum.

  Every inch of my dna was shocked.

  It took some years of my life I supose.

  But not a time to be missed. Better man since then.

  Beard update

  so it's been over a month since i decided to grow a beard.

  the mustache and chin have come in fuller than i ever imagined - while the cheeks leave me wondering if i'll ever grow enough hair to make it not look so wildly unkept and patchy (if anyone has any advice here it'd be much appreciated).

  but in the mean time i'll give it another month and see how it goes.. .

  its been awhile since i've commented but i come by and read your posts about once a week.

  so why do i need a pep talk ?

  after almost 2 years into my fade these bastards won't give it a rest constant hang ups on my answering machine and today for the first time in about 6 months they come to my apartment complex but thankfully couldn't get in they did keep buzzing me so they were here looking for me.

  Proposed Georgia(USA) Assembly Hall Collected Funds, 3.5 Million Dollars, donated to the World Wide Work

  from 2012 thru 2016, congregations in georgia and alabama collected funds to build a new assembly hall in south atlanta.

  to date, 3.5 million dollars was collected and 75 acres was purchased.

  the branch decided that this assembly hall was not needed.
