@Phizzy, you are right! It's a one way communication. They send. Others have to listen.
This was the first time that some family, visiting, didn't act like visitors. They act like my nice, park style backyard was a battleground for free speech.
So, new guest list the next summer 😆

It's sad to see family, people you like and love, switched off their rational thinking.
It's like they are in a stream, a wild river, trying to keep their head above the water.
Instead of taking some rest in this difficult times, they are in full sect mode, and they don't know it.

My great irration this year was my jw family in our backyard, talking loud using words "The Watchtower, Jehovah and Jesus" and the most idiot story's.
I asked please can you level your voice, but the answer was "we have nothing to be ashamed off".
Then they begon talking louder about the pioneer school, the Zoom meetings and that we are in the end of the end times.
I asked again, "no believe and no politics in our backyard" and then they began beeing angry "we are free to say what we want".
So this was the last summer with jw family in our backyard. Most bizar was they did not listen to my request. They did not respect me. This was for the first time. And the last!

body of elder letters, announcements, and so forth will be next to "none" unless more elders decide to contact us and help out.. atlantis has lost three elders in the past two years.
two elders were disfellowshipped, and one disassociated and walk away a month ago.. when this happens receiving confidential documents is severed.
the last announcement we received was 2020-07-23. i was not about to send out a childish letter on "mold" in the kingdom halls.. there are people out there out of work and concerned about what they will eat tomorrow, and the watchtower is concerned with mold!.

when i drive by the kingdom hall i grew up attending at but, was sold directly to a church, i get angry.
the elders who handled the sale didn't even remove the watchtower shaped bricks on each side of the sign near the street so, now they advertise for a baptist church.
how many times as i grew up i heard things like: you should not do work ( such as clean carpets for a church) you wouldn't want to work at a cigarette making plant or a facility that makes bombs for the military.
