most christians have a vague notion of worship, idolatry, and blasphemy already, but.
a clear definition is necessary.. we must take care to differentiate, however.. how the words appear in original language and how they are defined today might be at odds.. ____________________.
A similarity exists in the Eastern Orthodox where Tradition reigns, possibly in older Catholics as well. The 'Church' is The expression of the Kingdom of God on earth, the thing you look to for spiritual physicality, thus all of the pomp and ceremony.
Our meetings, field service and assemblies are meant to evoke the same feelings, something to look at and touch so you know God 'is with us'.

Evangelicals have painted themselves into an emotional corner. You living a regualr life are a threat that needs a resolution. Therefore you can't really find happiness or fulfillment, it all must be a facade.
Going to bed everynight thinking humanity was on a crash course to Hell or Armageddon made us have a myopic view of life.
