clyde and i have a friend who is quite anxious to get us signed up.

it has to do with buying products and services at a discount.

supposedly, a lot of money can be made by getting others involved.

I just joined an MLM earlier this month. I too have a sour taste left over from other MLM projects I was schmoozed into many years ago. When I joined the one I am in now I didn't care that it was MLM. Not at all. But it was what they are promoting that got my attention. Hemp, and hemp products. Protein, oils, shakes, things like that.

I have been an advocate of hemp ANYTHING for most of my life, and am in favor of legal marijuana for medicinal purposes. To outlaw Hemp is just plain stupid as it is truly the one plant on earth that can feed, clothe and shelter us. Don't get hemp and MJ mixed up. They are not the same. There is no 'drug' element in hemp. And for food, textiles, clothing, fuel, building materials, and such it is extraordinary.

Anyway, I don't want to get into all that here--I just wanted to state the point that whether the company I signed on with (no cost either) is MLM or not, it is the product for which I care about. BTW, I have signed on 77 people since October 4th. I had to stop putting ads out for new recruits. At least for a bit, just to catch up. I made a website and an Amazon aStore for extra to help with the business end. I don't really care how much money can be made, I care about the product. I'll throw out a few more ads later on todayor tomorrow, maybe, --once I decide when I am ready to answer the inquiries. That in itself is a full time job.

MLM, when used properly, is an ideal MLM business structure. But I damn sure don't advocate it for everything.

My daughter started a blog.

she started grad school at naropa university in boulder a couple of weeks ago, and now has a blog.

she's working on an ma in psychology.

a lot of family history about being raised jw (among other things) made it into the application essays.

She is the epitomy of self sufficient freedom! I love her and wish her the best!

Would I get sued for publishing a fictional book about Bethel-Brooklyn?

i wanted to realise a book based on bethel but a fictional account of bethel.

would i get sued for this?.

Since many JW families and members do not have access to a computer, and if they do, keep it limited...hard copy books will still be needed. You can hide in a backroom with a book..take it to the park, read on the lania, or stuff it in your jacket for later and you cannot be tracked for reading it. No history files to delete. So if I write one....I am putting it in hard copy. I want those who want to know but are afraid, to be able to have that liberty.

Great news - Bethel in my country is closing down...

here in czech republic wtbs opened new bethel home for some 60 workers about 18 years ago.

it was presented as a proof jhvh is blessing and aproving wtbs and of course as a sign that the end is so close.... recently i had with my mil discusions about wtbs selling their property in many countries and cuting costs... she did not believe me..... last week we went to visit her and she told me there was an anouncment at her meeting, that bethel is closing down and the building will be sold.

only translating department will remain in the country in other premises and everything else will be moved to slovakia.. recently there is bethel closing down in spain and italy and several assembly halls being sold here in europe.. i hope this will open eyes to many jw to see the gb in fact does not believe in end being so close .... albert.

Such things happen to BUSINESSES. Too bad, so sad, by by Bethel. I will jump for joy when I hear of NY Bethel closing...

This type of writing has been done, but if you use names of real places, then you must make a statement that the storyine itself is fictional...the names of the people involved should be changed, but the places can be real, and the way they operate can be real as with any other business you can write about..or religion for that matter.

I have been thinking alot lately about writing a compilation of true storiss--real life experiences that occur among the WTS members and ex-members. I wanted--with permission by their tellers, to take stories (like from this forum) and publish them. Still thinking... I believe these experiences should be available to everyone and could be very helpful for those on the fence.

All those years you have spent housing an internal battle...a raging war that you were taught to suppress. There is a reason they teach you that....to keep you passive and obediant to 'them', the GB and WTS. They have used God as their master weapon, and kept you held hostage.

You can feel this now. You have felt it all along, but you are feeling it more now.

Feelings are our internal language, the natural connection to God and everything Holy.

Your mind is the mediator between your 'internal instict" that tells you something doesn't 'feel' right. That is the very thing to listen to.

Follow heart (connection to God) and discard the things in your head (thoughts, ideas, judgements, prejudices,) and let yourself become someone new. Even as the cells of our body die and and regenerate, so do you....cells continue to follow the bio-blueprint they were designed for. Your whole self can do this too, and renew, and grow and become.

You have been taught to follow instruction of men, who disguise their existance as Godly. They are the least of Godly, as you can see by the many whom have been touched by them on this forum. Do you see God here in their words? So many hurt...is that what Godly is? Whitewash all around WTS.

You found love in your bf...let it grow. Now go play in the playground of life and drop your guilt off at the local city dump.

PS...I am not encouraging mal behavior, I am encouraging following your heart.
