  i just got out from jw bye a d.f.

  4 weeks ago after 44 years as an active jw.am i insane or why am i having that great feeling of freedom??

  i am sitting here infront of the computer having a cold beer and just enjoying life.shouldnt i be crying and having a depression sitting here in tears over missing all my jw friends that now are vanished??.

  Hi Kjell Hedblom,

  The fact that there are some congregations that practice 'church politics' is very sad indeed, and no doubt this brother you mention has no business serving as an elder. The same problems existed among first century christians, so it is not a unique for these type of problems to infect Jehovah's congregations today in these 'last days'. You mentioned that you have many brothers and sisters that care about you and feel that this brother should be removed. Don't forget those that love you, remember, it was love that brought us to Jehovah.

  Does being called an 'apostate' upset you?

  you all call each other apostates, so why should you all get upset if i call you apostates?

  if you don't like being called 'apostate', what title would you prefer?

  Name calling is childish but it looks as if some of you here love to be called 'apostate' while some of you resent it. Why resent it? We have choices in life and for those of you that dedicated your life to Jehovah, you knew that if you were to turn against Him and His teachings you would be an 'apostate'. But if it is truely offensive to even some, I will try to refrain from using this term and instead refer to apostates as 'exJWs'.

  There have been a few reasonable answers on this thread, and a lot of spiteful ones also. I think you people can handle being called apostates, since I have been called alot worse since getting on this board. Do apostates offer 'anger management control' courses for other apostates?

  there was a middle-aged woman in our kingdom hall who was a long time pioneer.

  she was a very warm and loving woman and so when she announced her plans for a family vacation one year some of us got together and took up a little collection so that she would have some extra money to spend.

  after all, she was working hard for jehovah and werent we supposed to show our appreciation?.

  DR,

  I have noticed that apostates have a penchant for childish name calling. If I wanted the moniker 'BuckWheat', I would have chosen the name 'BuckWheat'. I have to admit it was funny the first time I was called that by a poster named Nathan, who by the way, looks like Nathan Knorr. In fact he looks so much like Knorr it's spooky! Likewise remember this, one untrustworthy witness does not make the rest crooks. Maybe Redford doesn't want to be a witness, why don't you ask him? Why didn't the Nazis, who only allowed the witnesses to shave them, become witnesses?

  Tell me the Watchtower that states that I will be disfellowshiped for being on the computer. There is no where in the Bible where it forbids Christians from getting on the computer and talking to faceless people with silly monikers. C'mon Dutchie, you can do better than that!

  I have been with Robert Redford on location and I can tell you he hires only witnesses to clean. This is a known fact. So what's the big deal? Why is there so much hate in apostates hearts?
