  How Much WT Literature is Still in Your Life?

  especially those that no longer go to any meetings, but even those that still go- how much wt literature do you read or scan over?.

  blondie does her weekly study article comments.

  flipper started commenting on articles in upcoming issues.

  Up until a few years ago, every time i came across a WT and had a quick read i felt like punching someone!! I felt they may still have the truth but the articles made me feel a mixture of guilt, anger and disgust. I couldn't bear to look at any of their publications, it was too painful.

  But since i have come to realise they do not have the truth, are not God's mouthpiece and are a corrupt and vile cult, if i come across a WT i don't mind having a flick through, just to be nosey, as i now see it for the misleading filth it is.

  Oh, and i cut up my mini Live Forever book and made it into a toilet roll, lol. I've got some great pics of it but not sure how to post them

  she was here for the bbq, we had an awesome time, laughing, her telling stories from our childhoods.

  i gave her a hug and told her i loved her before she left.

  "One of" Jehovah's Witnesses

  any thoughts on that particular phrasing?

  personally, i think the wts uses it as another form of mind control.

  by calling the individual "one of jehovah's witnesses," it lends a generic feel to the wording.

  ih everyone, this is "highdose" i've finaly been able to change my id here.

  so i'm abandoing the highdose account.. i should point out that i have finaly managed to come off the high dose of anti depressants that i first took my name from so its wasn't correct anymore anyway.

  The WTS and it's members inability to face it's past/history, funny?

  a recent little debate with a couple of recent posters on here i was accused of constantly referring to the past / history of the wts, even to the extent of it being of little importance to them because of the advancement that the wts has made up until this present day , and that they made mistakes, so did the apostles, and we humbly admitted these mistake's etc, the thing is i love studying the history of the wts, it's failed prophecies/blatant lies/flip flop in doctrine, the outright crazy claims, the organ transplant ban, the persecution of their own brothers in malawi, there help for their brothers in mexico, yet at virtually the same time condemning those brothers to murder/rape/kidnap/false imprisonment etc, so folks, you will be seeing a lot more examples of wts history, i'll keep it coming, because the final conclusion will be that the wts is not the channel that jerkhobah uses on earth, and it truly is an apostate!.

  I thought i already knew a fair bit about their rather odd past teachings, but since searching online the stuff i have discovered beggars belief!! Although the Milawi and Mexico debacle and the flip flopping on teachings that could cause jw's to lose their lives is appalling, the rest of it is both astonishing and absolutley hilarious!

  Yes, please keep the info on their past history coming - not only is it eye-opening it always gives me a jolly good laugh LOL

  i therefore find myself without any beliefs at all.

  which having talked to all the freinds i've made since seems to not be unusual.

  I totally relate to what you are saying Highdose, that is very much how i feel at the moment. I think all who have commented are right - we shouldn't worry about it too much, just enjoy life in a way we have never been able to before. I think OnTheWayOuts comments especially make alot of sense.

  Btw i haven't posted on here for a while so hello again everyone
